I’ll get back to this during the week. I need an adult to explain it to me.

Thanks, we’ll look in to these.

Hey… there.

It’s intended to not be able to bully climbing enemies. You can kill them of course, but you can’t interrupt them. This is somewhat by design as when it was possible, it became entirely meta to just force a climb and push like mad. Was janky.

That’s super weird then. Do you have a VPN you can try to test a connection via that?

Comment

That is probably related to an antivirus going crazy on the EXE.

I’ve put this in out tracker, we’ll keep an eye on it and get other bits of feedback as well.

Should be solved now.

Does it make any difference if you’re the host or client, or?

When you crash, does the game just close completely with no error box or such?

it would be helpful! But thanks for this so far, it’s quite clear to reproduce I think.

Just to be sure, you are using the “Warhammer: Vermintide 2” app, is that right?

Anti-Virus learns from the past, and evolves during it’s time on a PC. It could be something has changed that has triggered Bullguard. I’ve just installed BullGuard myself and have no troubles launching the game, but it certainly seems the pattern cannot be ignored all the same. Users are experiencing some success with BullGuard disabled, so it’s a lead - and we’re running with it. News soon I hope.

Understood. We know it’s an issue with the game in particular, and are working to identify the cause. A lot of players who experience similar issues happen to be using BullGuard protection so that’s our current lead. If you’re not using anti-virus I’m not sure what’s next to suggest but we are still looking in to all the reports of this, so hopefully the eventual solution will work for you as well.
