Welcome to Patch 2.0.3 for Vermintide 2.
We wanted to get some changes in which we hope bring a bit more of that classic weapon feel to the difficulty settings you’re accustomed to prior to patch 2.0. Putting some weight behind your strikes is an important part of the combat systems in Vermintide 2, and we can appreciate that a few of the adjustments in the 2.0 patch were removing a big part of that.
We are keeping all your thoughts and feedback close to heart, and we genuinely appreciate you all taking your time to bring those thoughts to us.

To play Dark Omen, you need to finish Helmgart. To access Weaves you need to beat Dark Omen. Sounds like the onboarding was interrupted by inviting your friend to play Dark Omen directly.

We have a fix coming, usually it’s related to the Minotaur, so on some difficulties you wont face him and as such wont crash.
Smoker is correct. Most of the challenges weren’t retroactive when they were introduced back in June '18. Sorry for this.

Q: How long is the pre-realse Beta?
A: It lasts until the Winds of Magic is released.
Q: Why is the download so large?
A: With the release of 2.0 (the patch that accompanies Winds of Magic) we made the decision to remaster the game. Whilst this requires one hefty download upon updating to the latest version, it comes with it some benefits which include both faster load times when playing, as well as a smaller overall file size on your computer.
Q: How stable is the game at this point?
A: The game is getting better by the day. However, it is important to remember that this is a Pre-Release-Beta and will likely have bugs and unforeseen issues.

You just need to patch the game bud, the beta works concurrently with the live game provided you have pre-ordered.
