Hi there,

I’m sorry that we don’t have a solution here. Unfortunately I don’t think this problem applies in this situation: the players that needed to contact their ISPs about these addresses were unable to get past the Login / Play Online screen, whereas it appears that everyone in this thread is able to get to the character selection screen.

Also, if that was the problem, I would expect to see this in your Player.log: Curl error 28: Failed to connect to df4fe.playfabapi.com port 443 after 168405 ms: Timed out. Since it isn’t there, you were able to successfully connect to this address.

Sometimes WinMTR (and similar tools) shows a “Connection Timed Out” because the various points in between you and the destination may de-prioritize or block Ping traffic, while allowing actual traffic through.

It is still possible that this could be an ISP issue, but it’s not related to this load balancer. We’re still investigating. Unfortunately it’s taking ...

Quests

  • Fixed a bug where the portal to return to Thetima would not appear after killing Lagon. The waypoint to Soreth’Ka is unlocked however, so that can be used to progress without redoing the fight.
  • Fixed a bug where the Saving Last Refuge quest could become uncompletable in some situations. Talking to Gaspar again should fix the quest if it’s bugged for you.
  • Fixed a bug where the interaction to jump over the railing on the Dreadnought’s Deck would not appear if you left the zone after speaking with Alric.

We’ve also just released 0.9d for one additional fix:

  • Fixed a bug with the chat system that caused a hugely excessive amount of calls to our backend services (this shouldn’t change anything on the player side).

I can’t reply to everyone here but I’d like to assure you that we’re seeing what you report in this thread and are doing our best to keep up with the reports you’ve made elsewhere on the forum. We have a lot more fixes “in flight” internally. Thanks for posting.

Gameplay

  • The Death Recap screen (you were killed by X with Y damage type) now works in Multiplayer.
  • Fixed a bug where offline characters could not unlock empowered monoliths at the timeline catalyst. You can go back to the catalyst on existing characters to unlock it.

0.9b has been put out to bypass the Queue issues that players have been reporting. We’re hard at work preparing gameplay fixes for next week.

Hello! I’d like confirm that the reason patch notes haven’t been posted is that we’re still working on them. We plan to post them before the 9th.

We decided not to release patch notes alongside the recent Multiplayer tests for a few reasons:

  • Focus our efforts on getting the game itself ready for the events
  • Avoid confusion if something in the patch notes changed again before the official 0.9 release.

Many of our social posts are previews of the content coming in 0.9, though they’re in more of a Showcase format than patch notes.

This version of the game also has most of the changes that will be present in the full release of Beta 0.9 but we aren’t ready to share those patch notes quite yet (they are very long).
