Greetings Exiles!

We’re deploying a Hotfix for the Economy patch, including several crash and bug fixes and a few balancing changes.
Known issues from the last patch were addressed, such as certain recipes not showing up in certain specialized benches and the placement boxes for some of the crafting stations.

Conan Exiles authenticates ownership through certain Steam subsystems before allowing connection to the Live Services, games that do not rely on these should always work despite any issues on Valve’s side.

Hello @Grymm, we’ve verified that this issue is related to the Steam services as the game client is having trouble accessing their connection manager servers, which can be verified by the following line in the game log:

LogFuncomLiveServices:Error: Login failed: Failed to connect to Steam WebAPI GetUserInfo: Timeout.

These downtimes usually last from a few minutes to a couple of hours, after which the live services should resume working as expected.

Hi @Croms_Faithful, there were no tweaks that could’ve affected their spawn rates in previous patches, it likely took them a longer time to be spawned than usual, as singleplayer sessions can be quite inconsistent in this aspect.

Hi @Stanibis, have you tried to perform a clean reinstall of the game or to rebuild the PS4 database?

Could you also let us know if your console is on a wired or wireless connection?

Hi @Visago, this new feature was temporarily available on PC Official servers, but due to community feedback and a few issues that came up it was disabled so that it can be revisited in the future.

To further clarify, the feature is not currently available for console servers at all, at least until the Isle of Siptah parity patch is released.

Hi @almcfly, welcome to the forums, we’ve moved this post to the correct section as it’s a bug report.

Could you please let us know if you verified your Event Log to see if there were any messages related to building decay or stability?

Additionally, if you have PS Plus, you may try and check your cloud saves to see if there’s any recent save you can download to get your base back.

In the future, we’d advise ensuring that you save and backup your singleplayer data frequently to the cloud or to an external storage device, to mitigate losses that may occur due to save database corruption or in-game issues.

Hi @everybodyvsME, thank you for reaching out, we’re currently aware that all horse variations currently have a black mane and tail, which is likely unintended and will be looked into as soon as possible.

Regarding the bread icons, we’ll register it for the developers to determine if it’s intentional or not.

Hello @Croms_Faithful, we’ll be sure to forward your feedback and concern to the developers as issues 1 and 3 have persisted in the game for a while.

Regarding issue 2, there was a similar issue introduced with the Riders of Hyboria update which was addressed several patches ago, how long have you been experiencing it?

Are you aware if mounting a pet has any implications on it, such as making it manifest itself after adjusting the safe area setting?
Asking this since the older issue reproduced this behavior through mounting horses.

Hi @Chacallouco, could you specify the server number of one or more official servers in which you experience this issue?

Does it also happen when playing on private servers or official servers in different regions?

If your console is on a wireless connection, are you able to test it while being wired to the router instead?

Hi @Geeohh, singleplayer coop as serveral limitations since there’s no dedicated hardware for the server, meaning that the host’s system is handling both client and server. Due to performance constraints, clients that join that session are tethered to the host and must remain within a certain limited range or they will be teleported closer, and camp spawns might be delayed if the host is too far away.

Regarding thrall placement, are all the players in the same clan?
Is the host playing with admin mode enabled?

Hi @ROLO, to be clear regarding this matter, this is currently not considered an exploit, bug, nor something our team may act upon in the form of an infraction report.

The developers are aware of this, however, and should there be an opportunity to revise the building system it will definitely be considered.

Hi @Deadnerd420, we’re focusing on addressing the stability issues specific to the console version, could you let us know if you’re experiencing similar issues when trying to play in Offline mode, in official servers of a different region, and also in private servers?

Have you tried loading into a singleplayer session before trying to load into an online server, as it’s a workaround that often helps with this issue?
