Update on Livestreams
As we've not had one for a couple weeks, I just wanted to let you know we are looking to potentially get some Livestreams out this week (and we're working on a Q&A for the near future too - we're working things out around people's holidays).
Given this is a major update, we didn't want to commit to a stream in the TWIR this week that we may end up cancelling or rescheduling if the team have bigger hotfix priorities. We'll keep you updated on it as we'd love to hop on a stream this week to talk about Wilderness!
An important message about the early hours of this update...
It’s pretty major work to take a significant area of the game and transform the way it looks and operates. An update like this will therefore bring with it some risks. We want to be ready – even over-prepared – for the unexpected.
When the update deploys, we will be taking our Worlds down for a few minutes to take a snapshot: a picture of your account, who owns what, etc.
If any major issues occur, we will then have this snapshot to roll back to if absolutely necessary.
For this reason, we recommend that up until 16:00 Game Time you do not take part in any activities where you might gain something valuable that would be painful to lose.
Again, we don't expect anything bad to happen, but it may be best to remain cautious!
This means we'll get no update for August or?
We have a new content update dropping on Monday. Look for an announcement tomorrow!

there was already a post that a jmod replied to saying it was happening. dunno when but I imagine on monday or the monday after.

Fixed a rare issue that may cause players to be hit with Zamorak’s world ending attack during phase 7 after teleporting out / dying in the arena.
Fixed an issue causing players to have a lower attack range during phase 7 of Zamorak, preventing some channelled abilities from being used.
So was it intended that to unlock the skip you had to get to 250% enrage rather than “25 kills”?
What’s going to happen if someone gets to 25 kills at 0% now and unlocks the skip but then you revert it to the intended mechanic, will they lose the ability to skip?
The unintentional part was being able to 'push Enrage' without having to do the Elite Dungeon. That shortcut was only meant to apply to Enrages you'd already completed (ie. if you can access 30% because you've completed up to 20% Enrage, you can only skip on 20% or below).
25 Kills at Normal or any Enrage is intended and still the way to unlock the shortcut.
so we should just do 25 NM then push enr at zammy right?
That does work now yes.
That may change once all 5 categories have World's First 1000% Enrage Kill champions, but we haven't made any decisions so far. We just wanted to make a call and get the word out asap for now.

We've discovered the Zamorak Elite Dungeon Skip - unlocked at 25 kills - works at any accessible Enrage rather than only Enrages with a full run completed.
To ensure a fair World's First Race, we've decided this won't be fixed and to get the word out to all players. Good luck!
