So maybe some kind of way to have Wars of entire Clans? But what would we call it hmmmmm
The Clan Warring Dome!
Thanks! Would be nice for people who got diary done before 256 KC to have any use at all for the tattered KQ head. Then again, it was only added to avoid a drystreak locking you out of the diary, so maybe that's the only use it should have.
Tattered will be fine :)
What is a Kalphite head? Are we talking KQ head? (if so, would tattered work?)
Edit: blog updated to answer this
Keris: Attach a Kq head (including Tattered Kq head, but not the stuffed variety) to test the maximum hit of the keris against Kalphites and Scarabites
Original when I commented:

It does mean Kq head (blog edited now), and I'm querying whether it'd apply to Tattered/Stuffed tattered too. Will edit accordingly.
I just checked, it's just the german translation
Apparently someone used the portuguese text for the german notification
u/JagexSween u/JagexAcorn just letting you guys know
Passed it on, it's an Amazon/Prime Gaming thing. Early morning for them though. I expect it'll be fixed later this evening!
Still no use for rare fossils?
There's a lot of content that could happen in 2021 (thanks to our growing team!), and I'm confident we'll be able to explore what to do with fossils long-term, but in the meantime we'd like to offer this smaller quality of life tweak.

Never should've come here!
This is great. I saw a draft earlier in the month on OSRSmaps and was hoping we'd get to see the finished article!
It was just a quick idea, so I'm interested to see this discussed further. My initial thoughts:
Would players want or expect a lot of the QoL that OSRS has seen over the years? Think about things like the Farming timer.
Would the end-game meta be a bit stale? Unless I'm missing something focus would be GWD.
I'm glad you guys are taking the rev caves stuff seriously.
That said, I think a big part of the problem was missed. If anything demands massive groups hold every server at all hours, that in itself means it is overpowered. There is a way to tune the content so people still farm it, and pking to clear it out occasionally is profitable, without it being such a stupid money farm 24/7.
Personally I think (without having the data) a combination of things we mentioned like re-mapping the area and revising the loot will hit the right balance you mention.
Well my 3rd age pieces are from the melee and ranged sets which weren't singularly-storable before, so I'll be in the same position.
This exact situation is why many of us were making calls for all megarares to be storable without the set. It seems fair to me that any once-in-a-lifetime item should act this way.
My understanding of the content work we're going to undertake is that we'll be splitting all sets of 3rd Age items. I'll seek more information and edit this message to reclarify if needed.
Does this mean that all 3rd age items will be withdrawable individually, or just the ones that were individual prior to the update?

Why can't we just store partial sets?
I'll probably get down voted, but I play RS3 more than OS (mainly because it's my original account from back in the day.) This is a big problem for me. There are so many treasure trail sets it's ridiculous. 1/4 of my bank is items I can't store yet.
I answered a similar question a few moments ago:
It only applies to a minority of players. There's a game-mode called Ultimate Ironman which is based around the concept of seriously tough inventory management. Before the game change we polled Ultimate Ironman to ascertain how they'd prefer us to handle their accounts and item storage.
Other players can store and withdraw individual pieces as much as they'd like.
Iām wondering. What's the reasoning behind not being able to recover parts of a set?

If you're not an UIM then you have can store/withdraw as much as you like.
But, if you are an UIM then you'll be able to do that from next Wednesday onward. We'll be separating third-age sets as they were before the room rework.
Hey all!
I've been in touch with OP a couple of times today. Firstly to let them know that we're looking into the issue, and most recently to explain what our choice of resolution is going to be. I'll paste what the resolution message looked like. I wanted to make sure we had actually worked out a proper resolution internally - and communicated it to OP - before responding to this publicly.
Here's the recent message:

Hey!
Sorry for the delay. We've discussed a few different solutions, and touched on how we got to this point.
The content is working as intended, and as polled to UIM accounts. That said, we really should have done a better job in communicating what would happen to existing stored items. The blogs and polls point to what will happen to items you try to store after the update, but not what will happen to items stored before the update.
We discussed adding an exception to Third-age sets for UIM ...

u/LordGozer2 - Thanks for letting me know. Should be back to normal now!
Right!? Mod Sween like who tf even is that??
:(
I've taken a look at the suggestion form and the formatting is absolutely horrible. Everything has to be written on a single and infinitely long line, like you physically can't press enter and start on a new line. Idk how it will look on your end, but to "Share your idea in as much detail as you'd like." simply isn't feasible atm without having everything on a linked image/design doc.
Would be nice to actually write more than 3 sentences there without scrolling back and forth just to view the whole text, or having to link an online word doc everytime.
