We reply to ban appeals last as we don’t want banned players taking support away from fair players who genuinely need help.

@Schu, I’m sorry there was a wait on your ticket, it’s been a tough year as we’ve not been in the office for most of it and we are a very small team. We don’t actually accept bug reports in support tickets, they’re processed here on the forum. Usually the bug report ticket is solved and an email is sent explaining that we read the bug report and directs to the help center so you can see our known issues link and there’s also a link to the relevant section of the forum to put the bug report if you want. If you haven’t already received that reply in your email, you will soon.

I’ve reported the issue with troops being offered for the medalling power task, but other than that the offers are working as intended, as I’ve mentioned previously due to optimisation reasons, the game doesn’t check every item in every player’s collection at daily reset.

To be clear, the troop wasn’t missing, there was no bug or technical issue.
We can only compensate if there’s an issue.

We choose to have beta testers who choose to opt in and even if we give them access to the beta server, they’re under no obligation to ever download or play it, and even if they do play it, they’re under no obligation to provide feedback or report bugs.

It’s a nice way for us to give some players a sneak peak at upcoming updates, a little more insight into the development process and get some player feedback before the update goes live.

We have paid QA testers for the actual bug testing - that’s not what beta testers are for, although we’re obviously grateful for any and all contributions the beta testers make to help us make a great game. Beta testing isn’t a full time position being taken away from any past, present or potential employees.

Thank you very much for the offer! But it’s not that simple to take on a volunteer translator :frowning:

It’s unethical to take a volunteer on to do what is normally a paid position as well as a legal risk.

Volunteers typically aren’t obligated to perform duties - you would be as a translator. There would be deadlines, you’d be sent the work required and we’d need to be able to send you feedback to review it and have you do so.

Even if you do this work for free and we all call you a “volunteer”, legally you may be considered an employee - which means if we haven’t been paying you the appropriate award rate then we would be open to legal action.

Ultimately, we would love to add more language support for Gems of War in the future, and when/if we do we will be hiring a translator. We usually advertise these positions here on the ...

It checks if you have an incompleted Power task then it offers you a deal based on that incomplete power task.

It does not check your collection.

There isn’t a cap, they’re just very rare offers.

I’ll bring this up with the team.

Currently the game just checks which Kingdom Power Tasks you have which aren’t complete and gives a daily offer based on that - it doesn’t check whether it’s achievable or what you already have in your collection.

The Kingdom Offers are just for Power Level, not Kingdom Level.

Just as a bit of a further explanation, I understand it would be very nice to be offered deals specific to the status of your collection but that does mean the game would need to check every single player’s collection every daily reset, so it was implemented this way originally for optimisation reasons. We do play the game and we do get it.

@SerfThomas the ToD issue was fixed I think on Tuesday/Wednesday of ToD week, so if you continued having issues after that point please make sure you’ve written to support if you haven’t already explaining exactly what was still happening, your invite code and any specific error messages if you saved them.
