Hello again!

Last week’s dev diary[forum.paradoxplaza.com] examined the Orbital Ring, Quantum Catapult, and Scholarium. Today we’re going to look at another construction that has a massive impact on the game, the Hyper Relay. After that we’ll look at some other changes coming in Cepheus and Overlord, and finish off with another origin that was revealed yesterday by Nivarias.[t.co]

As with all previews, numbers, text, an... Read more

I'm pretty sure it's hidden on the workshop unless you're already subscribed. It's left there as a tribute to the modders who invested their time and energy into making the mod, but hidden so there are less complaints about it not being updated, which is an unfortunate oversight on my part.

If you want to fight the other crisis or otherwise be able to have fun playing the game then you're going to have to get a mod for it or cross your fingers.

This is actually untrue. You can choose one of the other crisis in galaxy setup. Interesting tidbit of information: all empires have a chance to spawn early, however the swarm and contingency will only roll to spawn early if all there are no Fallen Empires on the map.

Also in game settings you can disable auto-popup of event windows, which makes them all form an exclamation mark notification at the top of the screen, where they will wait until you're ready/they time out. Makes interactions with enclaves a little weird, but overall it's a lifesaver.

No, unfortunately. If we do another Mod Jam, ownership of the mod will be passed to the community for maintenance at the end of the event. This wasn't agreed upon in advance for the 2020 version. However, many people split off their origins into stand-alone origins. You may be able to find the origin you're looking for. :)

Today we're going to be taking a first look at the Slingshot to the Stars Origin with Nivarias!

Strange lights in the night sky drove your species' curiosity to develop interstellar travel and explore the stars. Now you stand on the precipice of discovery, as you stand to answer a question that your species has asked for eons: What secrets will the Quantum Catapult reveal?

As for this week's Dev Diary Tease, when we initially had the idea of doing a tease to get our Community excited for Thursday's Dev Diary, we had no idea that it would be taken quite this literally.

This isn't a bug that we're currently tracking that I am aware of. If you can reproduce this while *running no mods*, please fill out a bug report[forum.paradoxplaza.com].

Are you enabling the mods in the launcher? its also worth noting that you need to select the correct playlist before you launch the game in the launcher.

If this is stuff you're already doing, go to support.paradoxplaza.com and open a ticket. Customer Support will be able to help you out with this!

I remember you used to be able to choose your weapon type at the start. Then the first time you rolled one of the other weapons techs, and didn't take it, you would wait 80 years to roll it again.

Stellaris is not a single player anymore or it never was?

Multiplayer balance is always a secondary consideration. Most of our competitive communities will balance the game with house rules.
