Is there a reason you're not provided with access to the gem data and such until release? Seems like an odd restriction.

Technically I can provide myself with access, but I don't use information that isn't publicly available when working on PoB.

OpenARL, does that mean that if we reverse jewels algorithm their support will be added?

I can't say for sure, sorry.

That may be one means by which a form of support may be added, but I can't yet say exactly how I'll end up doing it.

Post

The 1.4.138 update for Path of Building is now available, containing the passive tree for 3.7.

Other changes for 3.7 are still to come; note that skill gem additions and changes won't be coming until the patch is released as I won't have access to the necessary data.

An important note about the new Legion jewels: Unfortunately these will not be properly supported by Path of Building, as the algorithms they use to modify the passive tree will not be publicly available. Some degree of support may be possible however, such as adding support for the new keystones.

For existing users, the update is available via the usual update system; click "Check for Update" at the bottom left if the update hasn't already been downloaded. For anyone interested in trying the program for the first time, head to the releases page to get the installer.

The range of the arcs is affected by AoE modifiers, as is the size of the circular damage zone around the player when the beam is fired; but the beam's length and width are not affected.

What do you mean? Those are all implemented already.

Thanks!

Yep, that's intended; you're leech capped even without the gem, and you don't have either "Are you always on Full Energy Shield?" or "Are you Leeching Energy Shield?" enabled.

/u/Openarl is this intended?

That may be working as intended, depending on the build.

Hey OpenArl, was just wondering when you might be updating the mobile version of this ? I'm waiting for the PS4 Release of PoE and was wondering when I could start making builds on my phone for it.

Obviously don't want to be hooked up to a PC when I'm in front of my PS4 either !

Thanks in advance if you have any info :)

I haven't made any mobile versions of the program; if you're using one, then it isn't official in any way.

The arcs do not deal Area Damage, which is why the in-game tooltip doesn't show any change; the final beam however does benefit from Area Damage modifiers, which is reflected in PoB when looking at the beam damage.

Yep!

Edit: word

Yep!

Post

The 1.4.132 update for Path of Building is now available, containing the new and updated skills for 3.6.

This update also adds more 3.6 uniques, plus updates to item mods and crafting.

There are still some changes remaining for 3.6, including unique changes; I'll try to get those done soon.

Because I haven't implemented that in PoB yet, due to having only found out about that yesterday.
