The problem with the word exploited is it makes it sound like they're a garbage team. I used it because the impressions I got when I tweeted that Damwon should 3-1 SKT was that fans believed SKT was back to being the best in the world. A lot of other fans seem to feel this is not the case.

Aside from that, I believe their mid game issues are obvious enough that they can be exploited. Namely, their reluctance to play on the offensive when having a gold advantage, often skipping steps in their objective set ups and a strange obsession with contesting every drake. These are all things that I think will hinder them from winning worlds if they continue to play like this. Top EU and LPL teams can and will exploit this in my opinion. That's not to say I believe they are a terrible team. I still believe that their early game is very strong, the Clid/Faker duo seem to be performing at a high level and Teddy is once again popping off.

At worlds in 2018, I was in a room with a number of casters, and we were talking about prep. Somewhat out of nowhere, Deficio said that he thought I was the hardest working colour caster at the event and had done a great job. It's hard to describe how much that meant to me, but I genuinely felt like I'd only go up from there.

1. I haven't done a super indepth review on every region, but if I were to choose 5 (not in any order) it would be Fnatic, G2, FPX, RNG and either SKT or Griffin. I haven't seen enough of Griffin to properly judge them, but I did think Damwon was actually a stronger team than SKT coming into playoffs, unfortunately it's hard to make that argument given they lost 3-0. I'm really hoping Griffin beat them though!

2. I think G2 will live up to the hype. I genuinely believe that not only are they as creative and aggressive as the LPL teams, but they have a genuinely good understanding of the game. They are the best parts of LPL and LCK combined into one. The biggest risk they have is their over confidence. I can see them losing BO1s, but right now, I don't see them losing a BO5.

3. As mentioned above, I've barely watched any Griffin this split. I'll be studying their finals a lot and their week 10 performances but I can't comment on them much right now un...

Haha. Well, a lot of people told me not to try and fill Deficio's shoes, just be the best Vedius I can be. I'd like to say I worked towards that, but at the same time I've taken on a lot of what Deficio used to do and try and incorporate it into my own style. I don't know if I will ever replace Deficio, I think I'm still a personality that is controversial in the sense of my cringey humour outside of casting puts people off me, but I would like to think that he is not missed as much as he used to be due to the levelling up of my own understanding of the game along with the hard work and support from my other colour casters.

As a fan (Worst): Watching Fnatic at 2015 MSI lose to SKT in that BO5 because Reignover bugged on Sejuani and didn't go over the wall, costing them their lead, and they chose to play on rather than remake.

As a fan (Best): Watching CLG.EU finally defeated Team WE after what was the longest series in history due to all the technical issues.

As a caster (worst): having to help Quickshot with Quickstats last split. 1 time was too many times.

As a caster (best): Getting to cast G2 vs SKT at MSI 2019. I believe that was one of the most intense and best series I've ever cast and the emotions I felt throughout the series fluctuated so much. It was a love hate kind of cast, but I remember it fondly.

This is a difficult question. I think I'd really like it if people noticed the difference in my game knowledge from even last split to now. The other colour casters and I have spent a huge amount of time building relationships with pros, analysts and coaches to better understand the game the way the pros do and I'd like to think it's showing, but I'm not sure. While I don't think I'm the smartest guy on the planet regarding league, I think I'd just like it a lot if people appreciated the effort that I put into improving it and could notice the differences.

At the end of the day though, if a viewer listens to me and learns something new from a cast, I feel like I've done my job. I think a lot of the time I get bogged down in the "I need people to agree with my analysis" and forget that there are WAY more players that just want to learn more about the world of pro players and what it takes to be one. So if I could do that for a lot of people, that would be awesome.

I think flex picks make the meta way better because it gives you so much more freedom in draft. The games become less predictable and there are more variables that have to be factored in. To me, this ultimately makes watching the game more interesting because it's not as cut and dry as old metas have been.

The worst one btw was "scale until baron spawns". I don't remember what season it was but that was definitely the worst.

It has no end and no beginning. The Vedius family tree is both everything and nothing. It will forever exist and not exist.

So yeah we'll probably see them more in the future :) This split I made the choice to cut back on them so that the various family members weren't overbearing and started to annoy people. Moving into 2020, I hope we can introduce new family members while utilising the old ones when it makes sense.

To be fair, throught the majority of the split we on the broadcast have highlighted a lot of their mid game mistakes, mainly stemming initially from players not really knowing what to do and getting caught out, developing later in the split to skipping or missing steps in terms of their set ups. I think it's understandable that viewers are aware that Splyce have mid game issues, it's just that the issues have changed/evolved/whatever word you want to use throughout the split.

Wow I really loved how you didn't just keep it to league analyst, you expanded your insult to include literally anything. I could be analysing a sandwich and you want people to know that my analysis would not be trustworthy. Making sure I really get the message. I respect that.

No, I was just incorrect. I confirmed with my stats team today that because of how the playoff matches are set up, Origen have locked a spot in gauntlet. They still have a shot at worlds!

I just recently beat my PR of 60kg for 4 on bench, which is my body weight! I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing but I do the same weight for Lat pulldowns haha
