I don't think it's widespread. Codes are rolling out in waves, so if you haven't gotten yours yet, please be patient. Start a ticket if you don't see codes by the end of the day.

If you get an email with codes and the quantity doesn't line up, then you should also start a ticket.

EDIT: Seeing more and more folks with this issue as the day rolls on, so be sure to contact us after you receive the email with your code(s) if there are any discrepancies.

This may be an issue with multiple ISPs in Mumbai/India, and it could also be a broader issue with how connections within India are routed when leaving the country.

a person DMed me a Vpn service and it worked.

My ping is magically 80 constant on the server, i invited a PC beside me that didn't have that service and we searched for a match on ASM.

I'm having 80 while the person beside has 196...

If a VPN is more than halving your ping, this means the ISP you're connecting with is likely the culprit, and the route your ISP is selecting between you and the ASM datacenter(s) is too long. As I have mentioned before in DMs, I strongly recommend you bring this up with your ISP, and specifically mention to them that a VPN is providing you with much better routing than they are.

I definitely feel for you, but there's not much we can do if it's an ISP issue.

I would try verifying game files within the steam app, or reinstall. Probably just a file or several that were corrupted during the download. GL.

We don't include the hitbox in marketing material because it's not a focal point for players outside of the hardcore group (this subreddit included). This is why we usually surface it on Twitter or Reddit in other ways -- ways we know the players that care about hitboxes will be able to see.
