We don't hide the fact that we consider and wish Eco to be a peaceful game without violence and aren't very happy about it being modded away from that. Nontheless you can of course do that if you want for yourself, but we do indeed not support publishing of such mods on our channels. :)

Not a fan of combat in every game, especially peaceful educational games with fully different goals personally either. Obviously it's not a good idea to attack me personally either and I like to be straight-forward with people.

We have a lot of 'combat' in our government and economic systems if you join a public server, we ourselves do not wish to expand it beyond that.

What typically tends to help in such weird edge cases is trying the next update of Eco that changes Unity version, The next one does with a fix for 4090's, but the next major Unity upgrade is still a while to go.

How old is the world? We don't support migrations over major versions and the last time I remember us having changed the authentication system where your character could be someone else has been a good while ago. Have you linked your Steam account to an SLG account or used a different account? It not saving is not surprising when the server crashes after a few minutes.

You can send your savefile and your server and client logs to [email protected]: https://github.com/StrangeLoopGames/EcoIssues/wiki/Getting-the-Eco-server-and-client-log-files-for-local-world

I can only imagine Eco isn't doing well with your pretty special CPU, given Eco doesn't make use a lot of multiple cores but prefers single core focused cpus and has no optimization for such CPUs.

Sounds like a neat thing, but I wouldn't trust it if it didn't have official support and moderation.

No, we do generally not endorse any kind of 'reviewing', all that typically leads to is drama and no moderation on earth can make sure parties are heard correctly and fake news are removed. Hence we prohibit any type of namecalling on any of our channels.

Of course the community is free to start whatever projects they want, but it will not be endorsed or supported by SLG.

That is not possible without manipulating the save game, which is dangerous and will likely lead to corruption of the save game, which is why we're not providing instructions for that.

Also please consider creating a new topic next time when the topic you'd answer to is years old :)

Please do not "revive" years old topics, especially when there is much newer threads about the same topic that already have the information you provided.

Eco requires an internet connection at game start on Steam and SLG clients and when joining a server (including a local one, e.g. singleplayer) to authenticate the license.

You can find a list of the items for each category in the Ecopedia. :)

White Tiger has a success rate near 100%, the others are more towards 70% with CR maybe 60%. They all reset in a schedule, so playing after the meteor is destroyed makes no sense.

That's not possible without mods.

The height is limited by maximum integer value of height multiplicated with width and length of the game world. The server will crash when that is execeeded.

The maximum height cannot be adjusted, you can adjust the height for world generation in WorldGeneration.eco at this config:
"Height": 160,

In Eco the server does the authentication for a valid license, a local singleplayer game just starts a local server, which will do the check the same as on dedicated servers for multiplayer. So if your PC is not able to connect to our authentication server, your local server will not be and you cannot connect - while at the same time you might be able to connect to dedicated servers without issue, given they do not have a connection problem to the authentication server.

Seems you have already resolved it though, happy playing :)

When you start a game and select the option to allow others to join or just start the server manually, you'll automatically have a joinable server that can be found in "Your Games" -> LAN-Servers, this has been possible since forever.
