Following the highest natural block at any given position, e.g. if the mountain goes down on one side, copper does as well.

That's not possible. You can use CTRL / ALT + Click for bigger amounts, though.

in terms of ore generation, the game hasn’t changed the way that works in a while so it’s pretty accurate there.

The wiki gets updated whenever someone has time to do it really. I know the commands page has been updated recently.

Don't forget everyone can update it - you don't even need to be registered. ;)

As a Paladin of Ecko, I need to smite (evil) this heresy. There is only one god, of light, valor, righteousness and mercy. I'll find your evil and cleanse it whereever it may be. To battle!

Sorry, too much Pathfinder WotR.

Update 9.4 supports RCON, there is also a variety of utility mods for server admins on https://eco.mod.io and https://forum.play.eco/filebase

It's a known issue on where the world borders are fused, all of them are already fixed in Update 9.5, but that required a lot of refactoring, so unlikely to be able to be hotfixed.

This works as intended, Eco uses a server system even for singleplayer and when you configure the settings they are set in the server config. We ultimately in the future want to implement settings per world for easier use for singleplayer, but that is not in the forseeable future unfortunately, especially as there are different problems to solve that come with world specific settings in a client-server system.

As I said above, the name cannot be changed once you already joined a server, it must be a new one or the same after they have reset their map. The name you join a server with stays until the server is reset.

Hello there, this is the second megathread for server advertisements, as the former one has been archived.

You can post an ad for your server once per reset (or once per 30 days if you have resets that happen less frequently or do not reset at all) as a direct comment to this post - please remove your old ad when you post a new one. Alternatively you can edit your existing ad at any time. Your server MUST be on the current release version, servers with earlier versions or develop versions are not permitted.

Direct comments to this post that are not server ads or server ads that were posted again before the server has reset at least once are prohibited and will be removed without comment. Please use the report feature to report such comments.

It would be great if you took a bit of time to make a good and informative ad, you can use the template for our discor...

Do you have access to machinery like the excavator yet? Placing multiple blocks of dirt with the shovel is not possible, at least without a mod.

That's wrong, that talent does work and always has. It does only remove the penalty on clearing debris though, not remove the cost completely. It just reduces it by a big amount - the applied penalty.

Of course you depend on permanent player activity, you increased the requirements 100x, and need to constantly check on groups to make sure they are behaving.

Calorie limits would ensure that groups can't dominate servers due to lack of manpower and would make the 100x increase...

No, aside of global temperature rise through pollution, the temperature cannot be currently affected, elevation changes to change it were possible in a much earlier Update but has been long gone.

Well, I hope whomever start a server with such configuration says so here, since I am basically waiting on the official stamina system to go play again.
As owner of the biggest one I can say that this is not really true. Big servers live from continous and permanent activity and the playtime of players do not matter as much anymore. We do restrictions to groups specifically, but not to playtimes.

We also made this an optional feature on purpose (as game developer), given we do not think this is how Eco should be played - it's an option for people that want to play ... Read more
