Updates do not wipe characters or items.
Seppuku first posted about their issue a week ago, so it is definitely unrelated to Patch 0.7.7e. I haven’t seen a detailed post from Celsodiniz, but I would suspect that their issue is unrelated - likely due to a crash, a power outage, or other similar problem.
There haven’t been any updates since my post on the subject here;

We’re looking into a potential cause of the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks for the report!
I’ve been able to reproduce this. We’ll get it fixed up in a future update.
Thank you for your post. The latter screenshot shows your global stats - that is to say, stats that would apply to every minion your character summons. This is thus intended.

Since releasing Patch 0.7.6c we have updated to version 2019.3 of Unity.
Currently, our Linux builds are failing due to an issue with the sound system we use, FMOD. The specific error can be found in the first post of this thread on the FMOD forum. Could I please ask which Operating System you’re using?

One of the defining features of Last Epoch is its skill system.
As part of our work to raise the standard of the game across the board, we have been reworking existing specialization trees in cases where we felt they were not as interesting, as fleshed-out, or offering as many options as some of our newer specialization trees. One of the most recent examples of this is Patch 0.7.7’s redesign of ...

Hello,
This is unrelated to Patch 0.7.7.
Could you please post your log file? You can attach it to a post using the button.
Hey there,
Could I just ask where you’ve purchased the game?
