Hey there. The source of the "Pilot Data Error" message actually varies a bit, since that message is tied to more than one thing. We do have some fixes coming in our next update on live for some of these errors, however, if you are consistently hitting one, your best bet would be to raise a ticket with our customer experience team so they can look into your individual account and instances.

I’m not really sure what your question is, but Jesse has been doing frequent updates on the PTS over at our AHQ forums.
These accusations of silence are actually quite disappointing as I don’t believe they are true. We HAVE been communicating what we can right now, which is details on the PTS and gathering feedback on it. Our official forum for that is Answers HQ.
We 100% understand people want to know what is coming next and when the official release of the Cataclysm will be across platforms. We aren’t unaware that those are details people want. We just simply aren’t ready to share them yet, but we will as soon as possible.
I’m sorry if this causes more frustration, and we do care about how you all are invested in Anthem for the future.
I agree. I like most of the stuff added on the PTS. There is a lot of content there. I am rooting all the way for Anthem and Bioware. But if we are going to be testing and providing feedback, at least let us know what they are actually changing, and give us some thoughts on the reasons they are being changed. Talk to us and we will be happy while we wait for the new content to be dropped.
Trust me, I agree with you. We would stand to gain nothing by hiding changes from you all playing the PTS because it would impede the feedback we hope to get on it.

As a reminder, we never intend to leave out changes in our patch notes. Sometimes stuff slips through the cracks, but we try to always keep a running addendum and update the notes on any changes we discover after they're published. Sorry for any frustration it caused.

I'm not trying to ignore anyone. We just aren't ready to communicate some of those details yet. Right now our focus is on the Cataclysm through feedback on the PTS.
Will relevant posts be RT'd from the official account? Many folks aren't going to know about/think to track down your personal accounts for info and will look to the official channels for information and...there's not much there without knowing that folks need to go into the Answers page and find the correct threads. Seems like it'd be much better to centralize social posts via RT's through the official channel to keep that information readily available if you're not going to use the official channel itself for those posts.
That is fair feedback. You should also see more information like that from the main account as well.

The Cataclysm is currently on our Public Test Server (PC only right now). We have not announced an official release yet for the content.
Right now, the team has been working on it and posting updates to the PTS build for community feedback. There was also an update to the PTS today. Details on that update.

What cataclysm content is exactly I don't know going into it, but I'm gonna focus just on that while going into this blind. Just gonna type my thoughts as I'm going along here too.
Starting off, I can immediately appreciate that there's been work done on improving PC optimization. After fiddling around with it for a bit, and based on suggestions from /u/ncBadrock, I have more steady FPS which is great. To me I don't care about gimmicks like 4K or SLI. Don't have it, don't care for it, and most PC gamers don't. It's a very very small and niche crowd. What does matter is whether or not I can run this at 1080p at a consistent FPS. So it's a huge plus to me that there's been more work done on that front. I mean there is still weird drops, which I'm blaming more on Frostbite, but it's getting better. Hopefully there's continued impro...

After this post I decided to risk it and wrote about an hour to compile a massive wall of text that turned out to be the most upvoted post in the sub. You probably saw it, it is unfortunately more to inform my fellow console players and PC player who won't play on PTS what they can expect. I fear the devs can't really learn a lot from it apart from the fact that i personally like the new content. ;)

I've seen about a half-dozen people saying they have Premier, Basic or the full-game, and can't find the PTS in their Game Library.
I'm in the PTS on a Premier account that hasn't been paid up in two months, but people with paid-up versions can't find the PTS in their library. It's weird, to me.
