Hi there @mrbalaclava, I'm really sorry to hear that this is happening when you play AC Valhalla.

It sounds like you have already done a few of the steps that I was going to suggest, updating your GPU drivers and verifying the game files.

From here I recommend doing a complete reinstallation of the game. We always recommend that your Ubisoft Connect client as well as your game are installed on the same drive that Windows is installed on (Usually C drive).

Hey there @HzALCHOL, I'm very sorry to see this is happening. Have you completed the "Heroic Scholar" quest? It will prompt you to collect the 12 Heroic Saga items which should unlock the boasts for you to use during the Tale Challenges at Kara's Arena.

I apologize for the difficulty scaling issues that you are describing. The whole situation with the expired Ubisoft+ subscription causing the issue seems plausible. Do you have access to the DLC content through Ubisoft+?

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that this is happening. When you reinstalled the game, you were able to load your save file with no issues until you started the Wolf mastery challenge for the Challenge of the Gods quest?

I recommend that you do some other quests/activities in the game before you go back to attempt the Challenge of the Gods quest, or, if possible, reload a save from before you started the Raven and Bear Trials during the quest. From there I would start with the Trial of the Wolf, then the Raven and Bear to see ...

I apologize that you aren't seeing the tablet to pick up in Santlach Mine. Is it possible that you may have already picked it up earlier in your playthrough and not realized it?

If you kill the final three zealots, does the tablet appear? If not, I recommend loading a previous save from before you acquired some of the other tablets and going to pick up the Santlache Mine tablet.

Could you also share which platform you are playing on?

Sorry for the late response here, and that you aren't seeing the next "Reporting on Snotinghamscire" quest being given by Randvi. If you have a previous save file from before you completed the Snotinghamscire questline that you can load, I recommend doing so.

I'm also sorry to hear that you haven't received your 15th Order Medallion. At this point in your game, have you also defeated The Father? If not, go ahead and defeat him and see if he drops it.

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear that this has been happening during this specific loading screen. I haven't seen any other reports of this specific crash happening elsewhere, either.

Have you done any troubleshooting steps to try to prevent the crashes from happening, such as verifying your game files, reinstalling the game (preferably on the same drive that Ubisoft Connect and Windows are installed on), or any of the other steps in our PC troubleshooting guide? Could you send us a screenshot or a video clip showing that the recommended power level for Hamtunscire is significantly higher than its surrounding areas, like you mentioned? I would also like to know your own power level as well as which gameplay difficulty you are playing on. The recommended power levels scale higher than your power level when playing on higher difficulties which is why I am curious. You may want to lower the difficulty setting to see if the recommended level for Hamtunscire changes. It is also a late-game area which would explain the higher recommended power level.

Hello @RPB1, sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues! Have they only started happening after you started the Wrath of the Druids expansion?

Regarding the loadouts not being saved, would you be able to send a video clip showing what you are describing? I'd like to see how the loadouts are missing weapons and have unequipped everything if you are able to reproduce the issue again.

Hello everyone! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm very sorry to hear that this is happening to you all. It seems that this is primarily happening on Xbox from what I have seen here.

Since there are multiple of you reporting this issue on this thread, I would like to report this to our team for further investigation. To help with the investigation, I ask that one of you please send a video clip showing the following:

  • The weekly free item greyed out in the store BEFORE loading your save and after loading it.
  • Any error messages that may appear when trying to redeem the item

Hey everyone, and thank you for bringing to our attention that Feign Death is not counting as an assassination for this Weekly Challenge. I can understand the frustration as I do see the image and description showing "any kind of assassination." To be honest, I'm unsure if this will be resolved for this current challenge but I would still like to report this to our team so we can hopefully prevent this from happening again in the future.

If you could, please provide a video clip that shows the following:

  • Your current progress of the Master Assassin challenge (similar to the image above)
  • Your Eivor performing a Feign Death assassination
  • Then show your progress of the Master Assassin challenge again so that our teams can see that it is not tracking

Hey all, my apologies for the late reply.

This was reported by one of my associates as @TheNorfolkian said, and it turns out that our team was not able to reproduce the issue.

This seems to be happening in England and Svartalfheim likely because Reda has shops in both of these areas. As discussed in this thread, the known workaround for this is to restart the game. The items will not appear until the game has been restarted regardless of how long the play session is.
