We recently identified an issue with the new feature we introduced in Update 39 that allows players to automatically re-summon Companions when they are dismissed by summoning an Assistant. We are temporarily disabling this functionality while we investigate the issue. We will reenable this feature in an upcoming incremental patch.

Hey all, following up on Gina's post above, we are testing a fix now for inclusion in a hotfix for PC/Mac. We'll follow up with the timing once it's scheduled. We also wanted to confirm that the fix is going into the console build, so this issue will not be present when Update 39 launches on consoles.

Thanks @acastanza_ESO - appreciate the follow-up. We've got an internal repro for this and can confirm we are seeing the reported behavior with certain heals. We're still investigating and will work on a fix.

Thank you! We have everything we need and were able to confirm what you are seeing. For some added context, the game usually dismounts players when entering an interior space and this Wayshrine falls under that rule. We are working on an exception to that rule for this specific Wayshrine based on player feedback, and that change was expected to go in with Update 39. We're looking into what happened and will remove this patch note since it did not go in. This change will go in at a later date.
