Hi everyone,

We have an update on the Xbox Series X|S crashes. We have submitted the changes for certification and are on track for the incremental patch on October 6. As we’ve noted before, unfortunately this is not something we can hotfix and we are working to get it live as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we would like to share a potential temporary workaround that some players have reported. This may be helpful as we head into the Bounties of Blackwood event today.

Potential workaround
We have heard from several players that running ESO in Fidelity Mode on Xbox Series X|S has helped with the frequency of crashes in some cases. Please note that this approach many not work for everyone, but it is worth trying to see if it helps you between now and the incremental patch on Wednesday. If this workaround does decrease your crashes on Xbox Series X|S, please let us know.

Hi All, wanted to provide an update here on this bug. It is indeed a bug and not working as intended. The dev team is aware and is in the final stages of testing a solution for this. Once testing is complete, we can provide more accurate information related to when it will be available.

Hi All, thanks for your feedback here. We wanted to follow up with some information. The change was intentional as part of our testing for improvements to navigation of the gamepad chat UI while using both a gamepad and keyboard/mouse on PC. However, this is still a work in progress.

That being said, we've gone through feedback in this thread and want to address your concerns. We plan on adding an option to toggle between keyboard/gamepad chat in a future PTS update. We look forward to your feedback there as well.

Lastly, we want to highlight that the intention here was not to limit player choice, but rather to expand it. Please keep us posted with your feedback as we roll out the keyboard/gamepad chat toggle. Thank you for your continued patience as we work on this feature.

Hi @Maitsukas. Thanks for the question. Currently, we do not have a definite timeline on when multi-rider mounts will be available. We will clarify while the Companion Passenger Preference Options is present on the PTS in preparation for multi-rider mounts, there is no way to test it right now as multi-rider mounts are not currently available. When we have an update regarding multi-rider mounts, we'll provide an update with that information. Thanks!
