I've been a lead for about 4 years now... ;)

Also just had a chat with Obo about the tragically short lived D&D character he was playing. Totally alive and well.

When I clicked on the dungeon entrance I was not given the usual option to start where I left off but instead was given the option to choose normal mode or story mode. Again, I've been continuing from the same spot for a while always getting the option to continue where I left off. That changed after starting the quest.

Not sure what to say other than that but that's what happened.

Did you attempt one of the other dungeons in between this? Because that would reset the progress on your Aminishi run.

The quest doesn't touch dungeon progress, only references it.

I'm currently picturing Morvannon and Hannibus a bit like this.

I would suggest that Vindicta's uprbringing had more to do with it than any Zarosian alchemy. She was raised on a different world, by a dragon. Nurture over nature if you will.

Just starting the quest reset my progress at Aminishi. Didn't expect that. Not sure I wanted that to happen. It took me forever to get past the guardian.

The quest doesn't reset anything....

Ah it might be the deathtouched dart in that scenario. As it doesn't count towards boss kills, which linked with a bug at the time (now hotfixed) wouldn't have counted towards the quest.

If you complete storymode even with deathtouched darts it should be fine now. Or if you do normal now for that matter.

Did you do this on story mode or on normal mode?

That's from already existing content about the Black Knight fortress. It's dark, yes.

This one is correct.

Is this a case of Bizarre sexual dimorphism or an enlarged model for gameplay reasons? Cause their heads don't look the same.

Vindicta is not a standard ilujanka. Other females are not quite so enlarged (see Shariggan). The head difference is mostly down to the helmet to be fair.

The main reason is obviously form vs function. For the role she needed to play in GWD2 she needed to be larger so that she could stand out and be more imposing.

Not sure what's happening here, the animation isn't actually broken. It seems that sometimes NXT does something weird to animation frames. If you reload your client it might fix it.

No...those were in my original design. I have no excuse (and I would do it again).

I laughed so hard when I first put them side by side. I'd forgotten how big Vindicta is. I love it.

Yes.

Same! I just finished story mode for the first time but it didn't let me progress the quest.

Just go talk to Bryll. It might just be that the quest journal doesn't state it, but it should have updated the relevant variables and you can continue.

This is my vengeance for skipping dialogue, honest. It wasn't just a complete derp.

Glad you enjoyed it. It's a bit of an experiment this format and the secret release, so the fact you enjoyed it is really promising. :)

I want to make sure our new devs Mod Cano and Mod Desert also get their kudos for working on the quest. They did some great stuff having to try and implement my weird ideas (I would like to blame someone else for the seagull marriage counselling but it was me and I regret nothing. Mod Desert implemented it well though).

The quest is bugged. Some of us can't complete it. We're to the very end where we need to talk to Bryll at the war table but she isn't there. We can talk to her at her regular spot and talk about the quest and she says they're all ready to go, but nothing. Pleaaaase fix it.

I believe this has been fixed now, but if not can you send a bug report using the in game feature. I'm not sure how you've ended up in that situation and I'll need to see account stats to track it down a bit more.
