Hello CMDR, There are some out there who like the beat up look their ship can get to show they've survived some heavy combat encounters. Another example is that Explorers tend to wear the scuffed paintwork as a badge of honour for completing long reaching expeditions.

Hello CMDR, with the equipping of modules they take up certain slots based on their size/rating. For instance on a hauler you have 3 size 2 module slots. This will often come with modules in them as default for that ship, but can be swapped out for others. When buying modules make sure to note the size of your module slots and the module you're trying to equip there.

You might need to go to the nav beacon and scan it first. After scanning the beacon, the megaship should show up in your navigation panel.

Hi there, your Inara account should be tracking a specific CMDR. So if you delete your save and start again then there should be a new Inara following that CMDR.
