They apply more to a classifaction that does not really exist yet in game as we are only just entering the era where dedicated CAS / Strike jets existed.

Comment

Since we dont plan to have a non-sidewinder equipped GR.1 it really makes no sense to invent a name that never existed. XX371 was still a GR.1. It was not called "Sidewinder Testbed" and was simply a GR.1.

Comment

Its something to be considered if the Jaguar is not performing particularly healthy in battles. But right now its too early to call.

Comment

Apparently something that slipped past me entirely

Likely because its a very niche system the devs were not aware was on the base model GR.1. It will need some more investigation to confirm its correct once we forward it.

Comment

Thats an entirely separate topic and nothing to do with the Jaguar. The BR range is currently at its maximum possible. Jaguar is a CAS/strike aircraft. Even if there were double the amount of BRs it would still be within the Phantoms range.

This entire topic is coming less and less about the Jaguar and more about other, wider areas of the game.

There are no desert camos for the Jaguar A.

These are all suggestions for other areas of the game, which whilst entirely welcome, should be presented as proper suggestions and topics.

They have nothing to do with the Jaguar itself as an aircraft.

Hate to break it to you, but Britain has its 2 most meta aircraft for a very long while already in the FGR.2 and FG.1.

Britian's had a new jet for the last 3 major updates in a row as well new top tier equipment across the board.

Again, we dont only add meta aircraft and not everything is supposed to go toe-to-toe with a Phantom and win.

AH-64DJP没有像美国和英国的阿帕奇人一样具有激光警告接收器。 您可以在实际飞机的示例中看到它没有安装。

Comment

Type 16 is currently an end of line vehicle unlike the ones you are comparing it too in Germany and Italy. So it will have higher RP costs as a result.

Comment

Well, we have said, time and time again, this is not the place to discuss it. If you want to discuss it, take it here please https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/forum/396-general-upcoming/

Just because you want to talk about it, it doesnt mean its on topic. The thread has been cleaned and warnings stated twice now.

Please use the correct area and topics for that discussion. Here is not the place.

Comment

Well the ones in game are supposed to represent combat aircraft. If you look at any historical photos of Japanese aircraft, they were always extremely worn and scratched. They have heavy weathering and use.

The photo I showed for colour reference was a museum example, so naturally is going to be sparkling and clean as an exhibit, but thats not correct for a combat game setting.

As for the Mod 11 having mismatched colours, thats correct for the particular group of aircraft we are trying to represent

Guys we literally just had a major update this week. We cannot start confirming stuff so early.

Both are within development plans. We cant say how far along they are right now.

Comment

I came across this subject a few years ago when making a model of an A6M2 also. Pretty much most box arts and some books depicted them as a white / ivory colour as was done in most movies too.

In reality, it seems the actual colour was a more off coloured caramel / sky / beige that is closer to for example early RAF aircraft undersides (See Spitfire / Hurricane Mk I for example).

The "Brilliant White" colour doesn't seem to have any historical backing. Most airworthy or museum aircraft are now represented in a more true colour.

Comment

That makes two of us.

Thread cleaned up a little.

Please take the personal debates on random subjects to PM or an appropriate area on the forum.

We have a huge amount of areas specifically for such debates. This isnt the place.

Comment

They are a big step, but there will indeed still be more ammunition improvements over time too.

Comment

Typically the plan is always 5 yes.

Comment

Good thank you, working towards my Jaguar

Afraid we cant give specifics just yet, all I can say is take a look backwards at the past and where major updates typically fall. They often offer a solid guideline for where the next will fall
