Patterns Within Patterns will behave like the other weekly quests, so it should carry over after it’s become a weekly. You’ll have to complete the 3-day version of the quest prior to the weekly maintenance though, because that won’t be able to carry over to the new quest.

Nimox has started a new thread in the Hunter forum for recent updates:

Thank you for all the feedback on the “Patterns Within Patterns” quest. We also agree that the 3-day timer doesn’t offer enough flexibility to complete its requirements multiple times a week.

With next week’s scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, the 3-day quest “Patterns Within Patterns” will become a Weekly Quest, and both its completion requirements and rewards will be increased to provide the same pace of progression.

We feel that a full week duration, along with commensurate amounts of Cosmic Flux and other rewards, better suits this quest. We hope this change alleviates the concern some players had over completing it multiple times a week.

We can confirm that Honor will not reset with the start of Season 3. Our intention is for it to carry-over.

Achievements

• Tales of the Exile will now track credit more reliably. Characters who have already completed portions of this achievement and did not get credit will be awarded credit on those portions upon their next login.
• Fixed an issue that caused the Soloist title to be awarded before earning the Supreme Soloist achievement.

    • Fixed an issue where Ravenous Frenzy (Venthyr Ability) granted an additional stack for simultaneous casts (i.e Stampeding Roar giving a stack for both the cast and form change).
    • Fixed an issue where Kindred Affinity (Kyrian Ability) granted your partner too much of a stat increase when Empowered.

It means that once the Creation Catalyst is available, your character who’s using it will need to have completed Chapter 4.

While we don’t intend to publish the affix schedule in advance, we do have quite a bit to say about affix changes here:

With each new season of Mythic+ dungeons, we take time during the development and testing of the content update to consider how M+ affixes have been working, design and implement new affixes, adjust dungeons where necessary, and add new dungeons.

M+ is played by a diverse range of players, so we try to make sure our feedback sources are just as diverse, to maximize our chances that we’ll spot pain points, knowing that different types of players have different experiences in M+. We look at data and statistics, forum posts, streams, and of course, we play a great number of keys ourselves at various levels and discuss our own experiences internally.

A major focus in these efforts is always how different weeks “feel” for players. An example of this was the adjustment to Ingra Maloch in Season 2. Mythic+ end-of-run drops will cap at Mythic+10 throughout the week of March 1–7, and Season 3 Rated PvP gear upgrades are initially capped at Rival II (base item level 268) until Mythic Difficulty Sepulcher of the First Ones is available.

Completing the Great Vault participation requirements next week, March 1–7, will reward the new item level thresholds in the March 8 Great Vault after the weekly maintenance.

To start you on your Shadowlands Season 3 journey, we’ll be lowering some of the Great Vault participation requirements with next week’s maintenance on March 1.

Raid Vault

The new thresholds for the raid requirements will map better to the structure of the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid, especially for groups attempting to move from one difficulty up into the next.

• The first Raid Vault now requires 2 Raid Boss victories (was 3).
• The second Raid Vault now requires 5 Raid Boss victories (was 6).
• The third Raid Vault now requires 8 Raid Boss victories (was 9).
