Hey! I am pretty annoyed with the http failure also. I am using Cloudflare WARP and I am able to play, but without it I can't even play 10-15 minutes, and I have this problem, on 3 different networks.

The thing is that this issue is from the beginning and changing the DNS or using a VPN was a workaround found by players, so is kinda like since this workaround there was no intention in correcting this problem, just saying. And from my point of view me as a player shouldn't have to install any kind of 3rd party software(vpn) or do network config changes(dns) to make a game playable.

We totally agree. Sadly some of the issues you’re encountering are totally out of our control as they rely on the Digital Extremes servers and back end which we had no control over when we launched and now we really have no control over with the DE External Projects team disbanded. Not passing the buck, telling you the honest truth.

As a player you don’t care WHO owns something being broken… you just want to play Wayfinder and we get it. We’re working on a solution now as we continue to transition services. We hope to make meaningful progress when we return next week and we’ll start doing fast smaller hot fixes each week to address performance in the client and on the network.

Hey! A friend of mine is stuck with the Tutorial quest, he got disconnected while doing it so now he's in Skylight but can't progress. At the start of this week, he sent a ticket to support and I believe he also sent a message to Snarf on Discord. We are aware that you guys are taking your week off, so we aren't worried about not being responded. Seeing you answer some posts on Reddit, I'm wondering, should I tell him to talk to you on Discord or we are better off waiting for the team to get back , so it is properly solved?

Sorry that happened. Sadly this has to be handled through support. If it isn’t solved in the next day or so, please message me but I do not have the ability right now but I can follow up with people.

HTTP failure is a general connection issue where you can’t get to our servers. It’s something we’re investigating but the DNS does solve it for a lot of people.

The 14% load issue we are aware of and planning a fix after the holidays. The game is basically trying to send you to a server that doesn’t exist.

Thanks for trying our game and sticking with us during EA. Our teams will be on it first thing in the new year.

We’ve had multiple reports of late of people’s connection failing due to DNS. We recommend Not using your default ISP’s DNS and using 1.1.1.1 (Google it) while we figure out what’s going on.

Well at least we're not AT zero.

Both skins were not displaying correctly after one of our hotfixes. We did fix one, but unfortunately the second weapon skin didn't make it into the hotfix.

We'll hotfix it sometime early next year when back from break. Don't worry, the helper shop will be rotated about every 3 months so you have some time!

I guess I have to buy something better than a 4090 to Wayfinder then is it??

Can you reach out to one of the CMs on Discord and send us your DXDiag so we can take a look at what might be happening. Thanks!

Affinity respec has been in for a month or so.

Can you go about making sure that you have all the location shards crafted? Even if you had done so in the past, please take a look in the Items tab and see if any are missing and report back. Thanks!

Can you DM me your Steam ID / PSN please? thanks!

I hope this game stays active for years to come, would be really shame if it ends soon. Marketing the game to advertise new players definitely is needed.

We have a very small amount of money being used right now for ads to let people know about the massive update, but generally most of our advertising budget makes sense to save for larger moments once out and not patches in Early Access.

They already adjusted the prices. When the game first launched in August, certain costumes and weapons cost 1150 runesilver, 10 USD getting you 1000 runesilver. They immediately got called out for it as it’s a very predatory monitization tactic.

Now those weapons and costumes cost 1000 runesilver and people who purchased them before the change were refunded the difference.

In regard to the FOMO shop we currently have, like others in the comments have said, AS has stated in the discord that they will be changing the item shop to have all cosmetics up at once. As to when that is, we have no clue.

The item shop revamp we're in the process of doing will not eliminate limited lime offerings being featured in the store, but what it will do is create a catalog of items that have already been featured in the past to make it easy for players to grab what they want w/o worrying about it being rotated in/out in a small window of time. We should have this update live sometime within the first few months of 2024.

This summer on discord i remember having read that, even without the early access money, they had enough funding to run the game for at least 3 more years. I think it's safe to say that Wayfinder has a future, at least for the next 3-5 years.

Then again, i am here since the first beta test, game has vastly improved in some core mechanics. Sure, it is in a raw state still, but i am confident seeing the road they have taken.

Woah 3 years is a long time haha we don't exactly have THAT kind of money but we're confident in our ability to handle servicing the game ourselves while we look for a partner.

Agreed this is cool, BUT have to think about how controllers would handle that type of interaction!
