Greetings Captains,

Welcome to this week’s edition of the New Player Captain's Log! For those of you who aren't sure what this is or what it might do, feel free to check out the introductory post here.

With each topic I discuss, I also added a question at the end to see how y’all feel about things in comparison to how I feel. I just thought it would be an interesting way to get some discussion going!

Without further ado, let’s proceed with this week’s Log!

Focus Points of the Week

Four "Allied" ships means AI Ships that were on your team.

If you had four AI ships on your team that were still alive at the end of the game, please add the Replay for analysis.

If you think only in terms of power-level, I suppose.

Our game is made to function at different Tiers and each ship in the tier should present a different game experience within it. While skipping the ships does result in a higher-powered result, it still leaves out the experiences of playing those ships in those Tier-brackets.

They can be pretty engaging. Not sure how many are streamed, but could make for interesting content.

From what I have heard, both ships feel like slight deviations from the Tier 8's before them. That being said, some people prefer the variant type.

I've played the Seattle in Ranked and enjoyed playing here. I don't think I had exceptional results, but I was new to the ship and playstyle, so that's to be expected. The experience was fun, though.

I recall the Buffalo being awkward, but I was extremely new to the game. You do want to get your back guns into the fight in a way that the Des Moines/Baltimore doesn't because of having only one rear turret. That and some other characteristics may feel awkward. Still, she has advanced pen angles on some scary AP shells with a 10km radar and 27mm nose, so she's absolutely worth a try.

Este hilo debe utilizarse para inscribir a su equipo en el CLAW. Hasta el 27 de enero 21:00 hr (Arg) el comandante de cada equipo tiene que postear en este hilo al menos:

Nombre del equipo (siguiendo las reglas).


Nombre en Discord del responsable del equipo con # (puedes poner más de un responsable si quieres).


Nombre en el juego de la persona que creará la sala de entrenamiento para tu equipo.


Nombre en Discord de la persona encargada de crear la sala de formación con # (más de una persona puede ser responsable si lo desea).

Los 16 primeros equipos que se inscriban tienen las plazas garantizadas. Al menos la persona responsable del equipo y el creador de la sala de entrenamiento tienen que entrar en el Discord y reaccionar en las reglas mostrando que han aceptado.

Os primeiros 16 times qualificados garantem vagas, o restante é se sobrar vagas. Pelo menos o responsável pelo time e o criador da sala de treinamento precisão entrar no Discord e se reagir nas regras mostrando que aceitou.

Update: We're intending to have the Naval Battle button back on the Port Screen in Update 12.0. It was removed in Update 0.11.11 due to concerns of overcrowding.

I've seen a few folks mentioning it here, but I'm not aware of the issue otherwise.
