We have not touched the rates of which weather occurs since inception, personally I enjoy them as they add another variation into the style of game play and another skill to develop. Given the situation you described, I'm curious about your positioning if you found yourself in that situation (surrounded by 5 ships). Do you use "Last known Positions" on your minimap to help track where enemy ships are? This is a great tool that can help in cyclones.

What is everyone tips and tricks for playing in weather conditions?

This sounds more like a hardware issue than software on first glance. I would recommend checking all hardware connections within your PC and ensure they are tight and secure.

After this, check and update all drivers including those with your GPU.

To be on the safe side I would then recommend running a check and repair.

If the issue persists beyond this and does not occur with any other game/application, please submit a ticket including a WGCheck for our technical engineers to review.

As others have suggested please do the following things:

(Remove mods, run a Check and Repair)

9 times from 10 this will fix the issue at play, on the off chance it doesn't please submit a ticket with a WGCheck for our CS staff to investigate.

This was not caused by any physical quality of your PC but instead of Battle Discipline policy, this was detailed in the article here: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/game-updates/anti-abuse-system/

Its important to consider your teammates positioning and heading when launching armaments behind them. While you may have received a disciplinary action (turning pink for 12 games), this will not impact the way you play the game during this period so long as you do not deal further team damage. Again, more information is available in the linked article.

Can you perform a check and repair of your client?

Hey @panzerdeal61 0.8.2 was a few months back and the feedback we received around the Space Battles mode was pretty positive. We know there are a lot of you who are very interested in the historical aspects of the game and we've done our best to add fun layers such as these modes while having that historical option (such as the new Benham having a Rogue Wave and traditional camo).

We'll continue to provide that general experience through Random, Ranked, Clan Batlles, and our Co-op mode but there may be modes to break up the day to day for folks and provide a little fun. Were you able to try the mode?

Rank Sprint:

The fifth season of the Ranked Sprint will start on July 3rd and will run for a week until July 10th. Due to the decrease in the number of days, the complexity of the season is reduced - by 5, 4 and 3 ranks you need to get one star less to reach the next rank. The rewards of the season remain unchanged.


The sixth season will pass without changes: begin on July 11 and will go 12 days, till July 23.


Due to the error with the start of Sprint, the display of badges for achievements in the 12th Rank season will be reset. In the future, rank badges from the main Ranked Battles season will not be reset with the start of the Ranked Sprints but will remain available until at least one Ranked Battle has been played.

Yeah, these issues are known for PC version too. It is not wrapper bugs. We are working on them, thanks for the feedback!

1. Open Terminal application (you can find it using Spotlight)

2. Paste this command:

3. Download and install the latest WoWs wrapper from official website:

Sorry, but we can't do anything with it because 0.8.5.0 has a lot of technical updates in it that are now working good enough with really old GPU :(
