The only immediate respwn that exists that I am aware of is at night in the wasteland.

Moving to support. Please read the Pinned threads and do the needful. In particular, a log from when this occurred with noted timestamps of the occurrence would be great.

This will depend on the particular server. There are no official servers for 7 Days to Die, so everything is run by the individual server owner. Many servers have a website, Discord, or similar communication channel, which may be listed among their information in the game's server ... Read more

First, don't call people names here, thanks.

As it says in the forum rules, players of all languages and backgrounds can use the forum. If you can’t understand a non-English post, you may use translation software. Users posting in poor English or non-English may be ignored, but not harangued.

In 2025, translation software is readily available, possibly built into your browser or operating system.

Third person mode is available as a debug mode option. That means someone with admin access needs to enter dm in console. Then that player can press F5 to toggle third person view.

oh... that's what the mouseover text suggests, yeah. well... I'll not use that option then :(

Not only the zone, but if you choose to do it in an existing POI, that can boost the difficulty as well.

Lag is network latency.

Do you mean you are having FPS drops?

Moving to the correct section of the forum. Try reading the Pinned threads. Particularly the one about how to report an issue. Logs are useful. Use Pastebin.

In first person, only the arms and held item are rendered. The rest of the body doesn’t exist. The hands are probably a different rig, meaning a third person animation can’t just be pasted onto the hands.

You wouldn’t want that anyway - the gun would flail around and be off screen most of the time. First person animations are tailored to the camera, so you can see what you’re holding as you look up and down and aim down the sights and all that. Moving to a third person camera while swimming would be more feasible, but… changing away from a first person camera just because the animations look nice seems unlikely to happen. The third person camera is just a debugging option. It’s not necessarily dialed in for moving and aiming as well as the first person camera is.

Stealing this from the Official Discord since we have to post it like 20 times a day there because apparently people cannot read.

How to Crossplay Hosting:
Start a new or open an existing save and make sure that in the General tab, Server Enabled is set to "Online", and Crossplay Enabled set to "On" before starting your world.

If you are hosting from PC, you need to meet the following requirements so your world is visible for other platforms:
  • Version 1.2 b27 or later
  • EAC: Enabled
  • Max map size: 8k
  • Max player count: 8
  • Mods: None

Joining:
  1. Select the Join a Game option in the main menu
  2. Under Server Name, type the Steam/MS/PlayStation ID of the host you want to join (or leave it blank), make sure to select the correct Region too and start your search.
  3. In the next...

Hive blocks that produce honey over time? I started on Alpha 12 and I never saw that in vanilla. I saw the giant zombie bees, but they were just the placeholder flying enemy.

Now as a survival fan, I’d be happy if honey was an important food source or at least a salient resource. I suspect survival is why things like honey and mushrooms made it into the game in the first place. But with the current gameplay, honey becomes moot when you can craft two types of antibiotics that are more effective.

So report the site/mods that are violating EULA to TFP. Steam most certainly isn't the place to do that.

Originally posted by Brevan: Also, when you get to a higher game stage more Feral (glowing eyes) and Irradiated (green) zombies will appear, and I'm pretty sure they'll sprint regardless of default settings (to be fair I've never tested this).

There are four settings you can adjust for zombie speed: day, night, feral, and Blood Moon. Now that you mention it, it's a bit curious that there's no control per se for irradiated zombies. Conceptually, they're meant to be harder than ferals. They seem to move at the feral speed, based on experience, but I can't say for certain that's always true.
