Hello guys, I can't complete the core challenge city of lights (visit Paris). This is the only challenge left to do for me. Is this a bug? Have anyone the same problem?

Thanks for your post about this, @misc1985 - sorry to hear the City of Lights challenge isn't completing for you, after visiting Paris. That's most unusual!

We'd had reports of this previously, but our team have been unable to reproduce the issue, and this makes it very difficult for us to fix. Can you help me with this, by running through our connectivity troubleshooting guide? In particular, please switch to a wired connection if possible, reset all your network hardware, make sure your operating system is fully updated, and check that no background programs might be conflicting with your network. The challenges are stored on the server, so rulling out connectivity issues will be very useful.

Can you also do the verifying game files, and running Ubisoft Connect and Valhalla with admin rights, from our technical troubleshooting guide?

Once that's done, please once again try to visit Paris to see if the challenge unlocks. Let me know if those steps solve the issue, so I can let our team know your results. Thanks so much for your help, and sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you for letting us know that the troubleshooting provided did not resolve the issue for you and unlock the challenge, @MiSc1985. It is much appreciated that you were proactive in providing an image showing the progress bar filled in as well.

I've sent your cloud save, provided image and provided description off to the developers now for them to look over. I've also reopened the investigation into this issue to see whether a fresh attempt at reproduction can be attempted. I'll keep you updated with any news I receive. Thanks! 🙂

Hi @misc1985 I'm sorry to hear that the Ubisoft Connect challenge 'City of Lights' has still not unlocked.

I have spoken to the Assassin's Creed Valhalla team and they have checked the configurations and have asked if you can launch the game again and confirm if it unlocks. If it doesn't can you try going to Paris again.

I have forwarded a copy of your save file on to the dev team to report ambianum is still locked for you, as it should have been resolved previously from an update.

Just as a note, please try and keep threads on topic to what the original post is about, City of Lights in this case. If you need any further updates, please create a separate thread for your issue.
