We try to match parties of 3 against parties of 3; parties of 2+1 similarly; and finally parties of 1+1+1. We've always done this, and we're always looking at ways to delay matchmaking to separate the three. We'll especially be looking closely at Ranked, in this respect, now that it's more acceptable to have slightly longer queue times.

Reasons: 1) it might encourage trolls and hackers to get to a high rank and then throw games to prevent others from reaching the ranks. I assume you will have a quitting penalty but what about those who throw games ? 2) it adds more meaning to games played towards the end of the season, no matter of your rank. Based on your numbers, a month will be more than enough for a highly skilled player to reach Apex predator, what will they do with ranked after that? No matter if they win or lose, then have Apex predator so why bother? 3) Dropping between tiers makes things more challenging as well - your grind doesn't end the second you make it to the tier, but you gotta keep working to stay in that tier (similar to the style Overwatch uses). Players make fall back a few times as they work on their skills to match players of a high ...

Yes, you can still play unranked games, just like you do now.
Is there a maximum amount of players for Apex Predator rank? Ex. Top 500
No, anyone who earns enough RP to be in Apex Predator will be allowed into the rank. However, we expect the overall number to be fairly low. I know I won't be in it lol
Is tomorrow’s battle pass still going to be 950 apex coins?

will there be any xp bonuses in the battle pass for solo players? or willl there only be xp bonuses for people who buddy up like the last season?
It's different than last season and allows for a bonus to solo players, and a larger bonus if playing with friends. Full details tomorrow!
Is dive trail the same as a dive emote?

What kind of progression can I gain once I finish my dailys/weeklys? Maybe I missed it but I didn’t see anything about it, i know I’m a sweat and will probably have my dailys and weeklys done within a few matches will I still be getting decent progression from playing after they are finished for the day/week? Thanks.
Match XP still contributes to the weekly repeatable XP/stars challenge.

Am I correct in thinking that STARS only apply to the 3rd resetting weekly challenge? There's a lot of confusion about them.

Season 2 lasting 5 months is disappointing.
Should be 3 months. Otherwise you max out the bp and the game turns stale. (Havent played since s1 ended)
One map change and 2 legends in 5 months. Maybe this is to give them more time to start pumping out more content next year or then working on porting it not next gen consoles
