Also, a small client patch for PS4 only is incoming.
We’ve been watching reports and feedback closely since the patch went live yesterday and know there are other issues out there to work on. Later today we’ll be following up to share a list of the known issues we’ve currently created new tickets for since the patch.

What about when one teammate leaves before jump/launch?
Happened to me twice already and I had to play another normal round to get back into Elite queue, but then it happened again.
Teammate abandons should also trigger loss forgiveness but I believe that it's bugged at the moment. I already have it fixed locally so it should go out with the next server patch, hopefully

Sounds like you got streak forgiveness
There is loss forgiveness and streak forgiveness. They are slightly different.
Loss forgiveness is basically, "something bad happened, and it's not your fault" (e.g. didn't load in a full team) so we won't count this loss
Streak forgiveness lets you keep playing Elite if you were on a streak (Top 5 twice or more in the Elite Queue), but it will reset your streak
Explain what happenes when you finish top 5 in elite, then want to play non elite game. I just did that, placed 15th and got the "you're forgiven and back in queue" message. But I wasnt playing elite! basically do i have to keep playing elite if im placing top 5 in them and cant play casual right now?
Sounds like a bug. Any sort of forgiveness should only be related to playing Elite
Blocking all the commands that made the game work as I needed (like max_fps, refresh, etc) is just a low bowl and easy way to fix things that hurt's more than helping. Please block specific commands.
What commands did you normally use to make the game run the way you wanted? More than the ones you listed?
Probably has to do with elite queue. It doesn't count as a non-top five finish?

This means that you didn't load in with a full squad in Elite - so you don't get Top 5 there, we don't reset your streak because that would be unfair and the fact that you didn't get a full squad is out of your control.
This should be something that only triggers in the Elite Queue.
