At 1 PM Pacific Time on March 5th, members of the ARK development team will be hosting a Developer Livestream on our Twitch channel!

Upcoming General Server Maintenance - Feb 27th 12pm EST

MAINTENANCE COMPLETE On February 27th beginning at 12pm EST we will be conducting a small maintenance on a portion of our Official Servers. We expect maintenance to last for approximately 1 hour. During this time the servers will not be running therefore time will not progress. Once the servers are back online, they will require re-adding to your favorites list as they will have new IP addresses. Below is a list of all affected servers.

Each server on the cluster can be configured separately, however, the entire cluster must be on the same host PC.

This doesn't do what OP wants. They want everything between 1-6, everything between 7-8, but no items from 7-8 to 1-6. This isn't possible with any of the current transfer settings we have for servers as OP essentially wants to have two mini clusters but allow them to interact with each other except for item transfers as if they were one cluster.

Hey Survivors! Welcome to the latest edition of the Community Crunch!

ARK: Valentine's Day Event Concludes!

Our Valentine's Day event has concluded as of February 18th midnight 12:00 UTC. However we will not be redeploying servers to officially end the event until 10am PST tomorrow, Tuesday meaning that event rates will continue until 10am PST tomorrow.

Event items and creatures will only stop appearing after your server has been restarted. Event items such as candies and chocolate will not despawn after the event concludes.

On February 20th beginning at 7am EST we will be conducting a small maintenance on a portion of our NA Official Servers. We anticipate the full maintenance duration to take a few hours however the servers will be booted back up shortly after they are taken down, which should minimize individual downtime.

Thanks for the tag! I just had a look at your server and it does look like this machine is suffering from some crashes and very high system resource usage. I will get it on the maintenance list and see if we can get the issues resolved this week.

So glad you guys are happy! We worked hard on this one. My body is comprised of energy drinks and black coffee at the moment. We look forward to continuing to move forward in our development process and future updates.

Meshing sounds like a good way to get both accounts banned, but what do I know. There is an official report process to be used so the Enforcement team can find and ban players with mesh bases if that's what you're trying to clear.

Valentine's Day Event On Now Until 18th!

Currently on-going until February 18th, love will fill the air as we celebrate Valentine's Day!

The ARK will be placed under Cupid's loving spell. With this event, creatures have also been affected by Cupid's spell in the following ways:

- Red, Pink, and White colored wild creatures can be found wandering the ARKs searching for true loves kiss.
- When mating, creatures have a 25% chance to drop an item.  That item has a 50/50 chance to be one of the following:
- Valentines Chocolate: Restores full HP, or knocks 40% off a creatures taming bar.
- Valentines Candy: Gives your tame random dino colors when eaten.

Ps4 small tribes 58 abberation 255 ping since vday event start

Are you still seeing this on your server? It's not uncommon to see significantly higher than normal ping or performance begin to degrade when we have a breeding event going on, especially one that is part of a holiday event. This is simply because there are thousands and thousands of creatures being hatched and maturing which each have multiple different timers running for various mechanics. With that said, it doesn't look like there was any sort of DoS on your machine as we have multiple systems in place that are able to effectively handle those sorts of things.
Also-- you have to do user tags in comments for there to be a notification, tagging in the OP doesn't notify us :)

ARK better after WC Split?

I appreciate that many of you have noticed a positive change in the team as of late! We're definitely changing things up and doing our best to listen to the community. Working with ChrisW and Colin over the last year has been a great experience.

I do want to address something though. I have immense respect and admiration for Jat, Jesse, and Jeremy (we sure do have a lot of J names don't we?). I worked very closely on a team with Jeremy and Jat in particular for two/three solid years and they are without a doubt the hardest working people I know. I'm not even sure how they manage to do it all, I'm pretty convinced they're not human.

I can understand that not every decision, direction, or change made to ARK during that time may have been one that you agreed with. But the entire Wildcard team as it was before ATLAS was responsible for building ARK as you know it from the ground up, and that happened as a brand new game studio out of someone's house. What is the ruins of Nosti gate and why is it being removed?

It was removed because with cryopods it doesn’t really serve much purpose anymore, and it makes thing easier on our enforcement team/CS team.
