Hi there friend - at this time, there is no way to spend your Embers in the Ashes of Creation Shop. If you'd like to grab the cosmetic items individually in the Shop each month, you can purchase them with your local currency using Stripe or Xsolla. Embers will be used to make cosmetic purchases in the in-game shop later down the line!

As you noted as well, cosmetic items are exclusive to the time they're available in the Shop, and once they're gone, they will not be available again in the future.

1) Yes, on August 4 at 11AM Pacific the current Pre-Order Packs will swap over to the next version, which will include an all-new set of cosmetic items!

2) You can take a look at which level of Pre-Order Pack grants you access to which particular cosmetic items in our helpful support article here!

Hi there friend! If you won an Alpha One key in a giveaway (such as our Extra Life streams or social media giveaways), that key is only valid for Alpha One access. If your Alpha One access comes from a Kickstarter or Pre-Order Pack, you have access to the later test phases as well as part of your package.

Hiya friend - there's definitely no "forcing" about it; we've provided Pre-Order options for folks that include subscription time, Embers (cosmetic shop currency), and cosmetic items! The Alpha/Beta access included is just a bonus perk for folks who want to help be early supporters :smiley: You aren't paying for a base game, as the game itself has no box cost - it will simply be available for a subscription fee after launch.
