Back in 1st of August in the TWAB the following was mentioned
The World First for the new Raid Garden of Salvation will begin on Saturday, October 5. It’s a weekend Raid race and Contest will be active

Today's TWAB states this
Contest mode will be active for the first 24 hours, similar to the Crown of Sorrow World First competition.
I assume the second statement is the correct one since it is the most recent one but i would like a confirmation. Also, I was looking forward to the 2-day contest because while I may be a hardcore player, one day was not enough time for me to complete the last raid, Crown of Sorrow, and another day would probably make the difference ...
It's on the weekend. You have 24 hours to get the 24hour emblem.

So, when you are signed into your bungie.net account and on their website, the green banner at the top says "You are ready to move to Steam for Shadowkeep launch", but then if you click on that banner and scroll down on the PC Move page - and click on 'Transfer Details' - for me it shows the info for the guardians on my OLD battle.net account and not my cross saved characters (that I brought from Xbox).
Just seeing this is freaking me out, has anyone else looked at this?
I am really hoping this is not going to become an issue when moving over to steam.

You’ll be fine. Think of it this way-
You’re “transferring” your battle.net characters, but your Xbox characters will still “cross save” over them.

We’ve made the team aware of the heavy desire for a pre-load. More to come next week.
The answer is we have prioritized other things when allocating resources to update the game. I know that is kind of a boring answer right. It's just when we are decided on what to change and put it up against something else, we have felt the other thing would be more impactful.
Not saying this is a non-issue though. We are aware that it is currently confusing and that players would like to see it updated in a future update.

Are you aware of the warlock melee situation?
Yes, we are aware of the feedback. I've let the team know that players would like Warlock melee speed to be increased to match the other classes.
Question: why Answering Chord particularly? Is it because of the color? The model? Personal preference?
I think I changed it a few years ago when we were implementing PBR between D1 and D2 because it had some nice curvy surfaces to showcase reflections and improved normal quantization.

Bungie web engineer here. This is just a side effect of the way our news system works, that number is just the ID of something in the published content. Could be a video, help article, random image asset, who knows. Most likely, this is just the title of some item totally unrelated to news articles. No need to head to r/raidsecrets :)
