Wait, what?
(Just kidding)
I’m updating the patch notes now, including this and off-class gear inspection.
Just updated the patch notes -
Fated Engrams from Xûr now have the chance to grant Forsaken Exotics.
No fix for the Sentry gear? Oh dear.
We're currently in the process of testing a fix. Once we have an idea of when the hotfix will be available, we'll let you know.
Hey all,
Here's a quick patch note preview for next week. We'd been tracking player feedback on this for a few weeks, and were able to get the change in:
Yes Sir, I'm A Closer weekly Gambit Prime bounty now awards 4 points for a win and 2 points for a loss, with a completion value of 20 points
You forgot the "there will be many times you bounce your grenade off of a wall, and kill yourself in the process"
Didn't ask for Spectral Blades to be broken Kappa.
Xur cares not for the balance of the game.
Never forget Prometheus Lens.
Y'all asked for Xur to sell Forsaken exotics...
Sent this suggestion to the team. Thanks.
/u/Cozmo23 , for the Thunderlord quest, will it be just like last year where each step is time gated for a week, or will we be able to complete each step as we want?
Complete each step at your leisure.
u/Cozmo23 Isn’t this update supposed to also buff the Dreaming City and Last Wish cosmetic drops too? It’s not listed here, did it get delayed?
No, it's still in 2.2.1
Are we ever gonna see a damage buff to thundercrash or a ward of dawn buff as these two supers are under-preforming in most PvE activities.
I brought this up to the Sandbox the other day as we know there has been feedback on Code of the Missile and Ward of Dawn. They said they are looking into these for future updates.
Thank you for the feedback. I'll make sure to let the team know that Destiny Reddit, as a whole, is asking for a nerf to Fusion Rifles.
Quick patch note preview, we're removing non-gunsmith weapons from banshee's loot pool next Tuesday.
While this isn't specifically reducing the cost, your chances of getting that god roll Erentil will be increased.
We'll keep monitoring feedback and passing it to the team as it comes in.
Oh my
Yes, check out https://github.com/Bungie-net/api/ for more information! You'll find that there's an ocean of both static information (which includes the images and "definitions" of items etc you are looking for) which you can grab either via downloading JSON files or grabbing our mobile SQLite databases, and live data that you can get by hitting our endpoints.
It's a bit of an involved process, but that's the best place to start up!
As far as what you're allowed to do with it, when you generate an API key for your application at:

If so, this is an issue that we are currently attempting to resolve with Sony. As a workaround, if you have any other platform credential linked to the same bungie.net account, try logging in with that.
More info here, this is the best place to get updates about this particular issue:
We're currently looking into the 2 factor authorization issues - I apologize for the hassle! If you happen to have a different account linked to the same Bungie.net account (like a Blizzard or XBox account), you can use that as your login mechanism for the time being. If you don't have a second account linked, unfortunately we won't have a good workaround until we resolve this issue with Sony.
Keep an eye out at the following location in the meantime, once we resolve this issue we'll update there: h...

What the community heard: "Crucible going forward is not going to be the Crucible you know today," or "we're removing Crucible but I can't actually say that so I'm going to mince words,".
What Deej likely meant: The Crucible is going to grow from where it is currently. Implying that the essence of the Crucible, being pure PvP, will remain; but there will be changes.
Let us hope that it's positive growth.
Sorry this was confusing. It was a live fire exercise. This is why I like to write sh*t down and let a dozen people look at it before we F5. Anyway, what I really meant to say was that the Crucible is going to grow from where it is currently. The essence of the Crucible, being pure PvP, will remain; but there will be changes. Rpaulv, keep an eye on our careers page.
