As the two reports here are the only ones, we'd need the cooperation of the server admin question, especially their Users.eco file to investigate this. Maybe you can reach out to them and direct them to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])?

Can you, other than voting, interact with the Elections page in any way? Like posting comments?

Eco is first and foremost a multiplayer game. If the default setting of No Collaboration is not towards your playstyle (they work for most people and we unfortunately can't provide defaults that work for everyone, as those don't exist), you can adjust those. When creating a world ingame, by choosing custom (later via file edits, we plan to make this better) you can set multiplicators for resource costs, crafting time, time needed to get a new star, time to level up a specialty and a few other options which should allow you to make the game as much or little of grind you want it.

Also: I see lots of collaboration (which does include competition in captialistic society systems, though) on the official servers. More so on Tiger of course, but that's pretty much what its for.

Exactly, it's just the development implementation of it, as the implementation of a real sphere comes with many difficulties that simply are not worth it and would be detrimental to gameplay.

Yes, on White-Tiger we pay every government official salaries, based on the US federal employee system to have incentive for them to care about the duties on top of playing the normal game.

Those rules aren't necessarily arbitrary but allow servers to make specific concepts, with one of our official Servers, White-Tiger, making heavy use of it. This is possible and intended gameplay as well on the meta-level that Eco makes a lot of use of. The law system is not and never can be as extensive as rules can get for concepted servers, hence that method alone doesn't work for every type of server, especially such that have a concept with a specific government type presetup (which, as you can see on White-Tiger, quite a few people seem to like).

White-Tiger makes it a bit immersive by them being a civil code and penal code that will be enforced by government appointed player judges, but the sentiment of this not being intended gameplay is not true.

It adds more variety, which makes building much more interesting for builders :)

Any idea how responsive they are on here?

I can run it on my Mac but if you look at my post you'll see it causes a significant graphical problem which is yet unsolved

No plans for GeForce Now, if at all it would rather be Stadia, as the goal would be to provide Eco to schools mainly, not normal clients. And for that, Stadia is a much better partner.

We do have Mac Builds, we just don't support them and they're hence not a part of purchase.

As far as Streaming Services go, there is currently none with Eco.

Hi,

Recently purchased and in attempting to play on my Mac.

Currently the game always appears with different lighting on each half of the screen regardless of any adjusted settings. Is there a fix for this at all?

Currently running at a low % resolution to compensate for frame rate - normally I play on game streaming services (e.g. geforce now) but this game isn't available so having to try to run it on my own hardware.

Thanks for any help

Not a Mac / Linux issue I recognize, but very likely one. You can report them on our bug tracker but a fix in the foreseeable future is very unlikely as we do not support the Mac or Linux clients and only work on them when there happens to be free resources.

This has been the case in 9.3.0 as well and is the second part of the issue that we couldn't yet fix. It will be tackled in the next hotfix.

Well, the config allows you to configure your world in much detail, hence it makes sense :)
