Ex, modern upgrade 2 in table at 25% resource reduction reduced petroleum used down to 3, and barrels returned down to 2.25. One interesting caveat to this though is, if you only queue up 1 recipe with the MU2 slotted, it will use 3 petroleum, and return 3 barrels. Which does not make much sense as rounding 2.25 should be down to 2, unless the game just rounds up by default? (given that 2.25 would then round up to 3, but at 2 would also round 4.5 up to 5)

Again, would be nice to know if this is intentional, or a bug. The tooltip for the barrels does not relfect that it is being modified by the upgrades. Although, it does show the talent for lavish...

Yes, they are toruses. (And we never had plans to change that either)

We always recommend to get a dedicated server and host it yourself. That isn't any more pricey than a host that offers acceptable performance either. Of course it does need a bit of knowledge to be learned, though.

No, it doesn't need to be in a room, but have you calculated in the 25% loss of barrels on crafts? If you craft lower amounts of barrels that doesn't hit due to rounding, but on bigger projects it kicks in.

You cannot, it's a developer command and it's forever.

It's a known issue remedied in upcoming Update 9.3.

It's never really raining, its just a simulation number. You can see it with the farmers inspection tool on a plant, that shows the rainfall number for that area.

Approved.

Yes, rain is not shown, but simulated (see the inspection tool for farmers) and will lead to downfall of focused air pollution depending on the simulated amount of rain.

Strike that, Devs just told me that the Oil Drill does not yet pollute on its own in the current Update so this is likely air pollution falling to the ground due to rain.

Trains is something we eventually would like to do, but is very unlikely in Early Access.
Bigger Trucks (though I count only ten wheels) are something in early concept phase.
