We’ve recently added a new feature to Singularity which we’d love to get your help in testing. Alliances and corporations frequently use contracts to distribute ships to their members and setting up each contract individually is a time intensive task. We’re hoping to simplify this for you by allowing you to simultaneously create up to 30* contracts for selected ships at once.
*This number is subject to change

When creating an Item Exchange contract you’ll see a new option for “Assembled Ships”. When chosen, every ship that is selected will be entered into a new, separate contract with the terms listed (it’s not a requirement that all the ships are fit the same or even of the same type, you choose what ships you want to put up for contract). This will create multiple single Item Exchange contracts which are in no way different from other Item Exchange contracts.

With this feature we are focusing on the “Single ship for ISK” exchange which is most commonly ...

Hello folks! This post will contain details of the changes we’ve made to the plan thanks to your feedback and testing, as well as some answers to frequently asked questions.

Changes thanks to your feedback:

  • A number of players have raised concerns about the proposed increase in warp disruption and scramble range in the Gamma Ray Storm. The intent behind this effect was to combine with the reduction in remote rep effectiveness to create bloodier fights by causing more players in group pvp engagements to be caught when disengaging. However some of you have raised solid points about the way this effect would reduce counterplay to scramblers and disruptors too much and may cause enough frustration to outweigh the benefits.
After some consideration we agree and we are adjusting the proposal for the Gamma Ray Storm.
The disruptor/scrambler range bonus has been replaced by a bonus to capacitor capacity.
    Thanks to everyone...

Hello folks! Today we are sharing some work-in-progress details of a new feature that is planned to arrive later this month: Metaliminal Storms.

The massive Triglavian invasion and stellar manipulation throughout empire space, along with heavy capsuleer use of abyssal and needlejack filaments, has begun to cause unexpected side effects at the periphery of the New Eden star cluster. Chaotic storms of abyssal energy have appeared in nullsec space and are slowly moving from system to system through the gate network. These storms affect capsuleer vessels in numerous ways, providing new challenges and opportunities for capsuleers across the nullsec frontiers.

These storms apply system effects (like the ones that can be currently found in the abyss, wormhole space, or incursions) to a cluster of systems stretching out from a central system.
Each storm will have a core of systems (the central system plus the systems one jump away) that contain the strongest system effect...

Unfortunately Iceland’s got pretty strict exotic animal laws so we have to make due with our current server hardware for now.

We should now be back and accepting connections.

We should be back in just a few minutes here if all goes well

The server guys are madly kicking the guinea pigs or whatever it is they do as we speak.

Hey folks
If you have a bug report in, could you let me know the ticket number so we can take a look at it and try to reproduce it in house?

Many thanks

We’re not aware of any outstanding issues with client sound @Lord_Zizo

I couldn’t see a patch on the 26, July 2020, but I did check the dates around it and I couldn’t see anything obvious that would cause issues.
If you experience any more problems, please file a bug report for us to look into, including as much information as possible.

The other thing that might be confusing in this update is that the launcher had a bug where when it closed for update, it didn’t actually close because there was a hanging thread in the background.

That meant the undead launcher had exclusive hold over the settings files and so when the updated launcher started it seems to have forgotten your accounts. If you kill all launcher instances from the task manager and start it again, all your accounts are back.

Unfortunately, because it’s a problem with closing the launcher, and you have to close the launcher to patch, the issue happens one last time in the process of rolling the fix out :crying_cat_face:

Are your drivers updated? (I’m sure they are)
Try run an verification check on game files. If that doesn’t work my last suggestion would be a complete clean reinstall of either GFX drivers and/or Game or both. “Clean” meaning you uninstall game/drivers then reboot system before reinstalling game/drivers.

If you have your old graphicscard available you could try installing that and see if the issue is persistent, if not then it could be a fault with your new graphicscard.

If none of this works I’m fresh out of ideas…

Hrmm, I am mad suspicious about those update+innerjoin queries in the wormholeCritical event.

Again, not an expert in innodb and hard to say without the query planner, but according to this gentleman, you might be locking way more of the table rows than you expect: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6664667/mysql-innodb-locks-on-joined-rows/12251122#12251122

You could try using a with clause, it might help hint the query planner to reduce the amount of rows locked by divorcing the...
