Unfortunately I am signing off for the night, as it’s current after 4:40am here. I will share more infomation tomorrow when I hear more.
I’ve gone through and unbanned as many of the accounts for players who had contacted our support. I apologize if I missed you (I will be back later tomorrow to go through the ones I may have missed).
To answer a few questions I’ve seen:
Can I get my guild trophies back?
Yes, we will be able to restore trophies that were removed from incorrect account bans. (This should also apply to lost Ice Crystals or Campaign Stars if they have been affected). I may require some of the team to assist here.
Will there be compensation for the players affected?
We want to investigate this issue and find what triggered it before we will discuss compensation internally.
Kris Krinkle changes are now live. You may need to restart your game to get it.
Hey Adventurers,
We are temporarily changing Kris Krinkle’s spell to no longer give Treasure Maps, as we believe this may be related to some accounts being incorrectly banned. (We cannot be sure until the team has had a chance to investigate but we hope this may prevent further accounts from being incorrectly banned).
I’m also going to start jumping in to try and unban some accounts of players who have contacted our support team. Please be patient, and make sure you, or anyone you may know who’s account has been banned, contacts our support team.

Just jumping in here.
We have a few poeple who put their hands up to help out with any emergencies (like this) during the time the office is close for the holidays + new years.
I’ve let them know about this issue, so we can try find what caused the issue to fix it, as well as unban any accounts that got affected incorrectly.
Unfortunately I don’t have an ETA for when this may happen.
I will share an update once I know more.

New Legendary Troop: Tannenbaum To celebrate the Holidays this year, we have released a new troop, Tannenbaum. You can unlock him from a special Holidays Adventure Board Task available that will run twice for the next 2 days. He can also be found in Glory, Gem & VIP Chests from today.

We just pushed a fix out for this issue. Could you please force close and reload Gems of War and let us know if you’re still experiencing the problem.
If you are could you please uninstall and reinstall the game and see if that fixes the issue.
