Oh man, what have I unleashed! (I mean, I should have known =P)

Unfortunately my next several weekends are rather busy, but I'll definitely keep this in mind next time I have a free Saturday. :)

I'm also gonna add this; I love Caithe's new voice and design. I just wish we got to see more of Aurene's Branded before she got killed.

Speaking of: Is it a new voice Actress for Caithe or is it the same as her original? I feel like they're testing the water for Zojia's return.

Same voice actress: the incredible Kari Wahlgren.

Our actors have really been knocking it out of the park. Such amazing performances. Ike and Debi have moved me to tears in the booth, and then I sit in anticipation, waiting to see how our fans will react. I'm glad that you've enjoyed their work. Thanks. :)

The audio team thanks you for your compliments! I'm just speaking for myself here, but we so rarely get direct feedback on sound from players that I get unreasonably happy when I see posts like these. :D

Heck, I usually don't bother you guys when I see you with the tag up. Don't want to intrude on your own playtime.

Am I just tricking myself out of chatting with you all?

I'm only speaking for myself, but if I'm tagged up, I'm open to talking to people and/or find it amusing to run around as a cat with the ArenaNet tag

Looking into this. In the mean time, you can use the /stuck command and then die, retry from checkpoint and you should be able to move forward.

/stuck currently takes you to the beginning of the instance, and I will be looking into changing it so it instead takes you to the most recent checkpoint.

Hey, dunno if you're the right person to bug about this but I didn't see a single subtitle during that final sequence outside of the commander's final line and Zafirah's text bubble. I'm not hard of hearing or anything, but I suspect someone out there is going to feel their absence way more than I did.

Thank you for the report! I'll look into this.

During the last instance I couldn't help myself but think "It's crazy thinking this is a MMORPG instance" You'd NEVER see that level of immersion/grandeur in ff XIV (and god knows its story and setting is crazy good for an mmo), or WoW.

Wow, that is very high praise. I'm so happy you enjoyed it. Thank you <3

It felt like AAA quality (with engine limitations of course), it put other online games to shame. Congrats !

Thank you! Da-Hee and I worked very closely to make that scene come to life, and she went above and beyond. Massive Kudos :)

This whole episode is a piece of art. The last scene is incredible at setting up the atmosphere and the picture of the impaled Aurene is trully traumatic. And then I heard my commander saying "I don't know..." while the screen gets black, and you can't help but feel desperate and shocked...
Also the music with the chorus all along is really impactful, great work from Maclaine on the soundtrack from this episode (I suggest you read the interview released earlier, very interesting).

The execution of the "I don't know" line was iterated on many times, from where it was placed timing wise to how it was delivered, and I'm glad that we were able to hit the desperate-and-shocked sweet spot for you :)

Major oof out of this though, I really didn’t expect the fight to go the way it did. So kudos to Anet for having the guts to do the thing(and nice character animations, it’s was neat the way the pc was animated at the end)

Thank you! Doing all of the PC animations for the ending was a long but ultimately rewarding endeavor.

I rarely see any devs around anymore. Lucky you!

We definitely play, but we don't always have our tags up. I know that I personally take it down when I don't feel like interacting with anyone and just want to relax. We also tend to get grouped into the same map instance by the megaserver system, because it is a guild.

Should work anywhere you can see a mouse-over tooltip from an item, which includes the TP, merchant windows, chat-links, etc.

I'm the studio liaison, which means that I work with the community of the wiki. The wiki is the work of editors who are players like you, so I'm not the one you should thank :)

Fun fact, the rank names of the french wiki are based on the rank of the Priory for this reason.

That's also why I used a lot the Priory imagery when I communicated information about the wiki on our social media channels :)

You can find Wikki's Official Guide to Tyria in that same instance, too. Which paraphrases (reworded only to not break the 4th wall and bring it into modern-GW2 perspective) the first paragraph of https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Tyria and https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Tyria_(world)), said paragraphs remain unedited since the GW2's release incidentally.

Fun fact: the book is something that Angel McCoy created shortly before the original release of Guild Wars 2, after a discussion I had with her about lore and the wiki. As you said, it was a subtle nod that was trying not to be 4th-wall breaking, and being respectful of the wiki editor's passion for knowledge.

My exp bar is maxed, so I feel like I'm wasting playtime too.

You don't have to worry about this. XP you get when you have all available mastery XP tracks maxed goes to a hidden XP bar which will give you spirit shards once you've unlocked all the masteries. This is not well explained, and I actually just found out about it myself yesterday.
