We're all very excited for next week's game update and have been reading your feedback to the previews we've been sharing! Based on some of that feedback, we've made adjustments to the charr's heavy Obsidian Legendary armor set to cover the claws and more of the neck, as seen in the screenshot below. We've also got a video preview coming for you soon for one more look at the first tier of Obsidian Legendary armor as we count down the last few days until The Realm of Dreams!

We discovered an error that prevented a notification from appearing in the game launcher when we last updated the Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 EULAs. We've corrected this, and when the February 27 Guild Wars 2 game update goes live next week, players will see a notification about the changes to the EULA. In addition to letting you know about that ahead of time, we want to give you a summary of the three changes: The agreements are now between end users and ArenaNet and no longer apply to NCSOFT titles. The User Agreement prohibits players from putting Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2 content into generative AI tools. We updated the Privacy Shield section of the Privacy Policy. You can find the updated EULA here.

April 16 is the correct date. The news post had a typo--we've published a fix and a few of us MIGHT be sitting here hitting F5 every three seconds waiting for it to go live. 😄 @Krydle.7418 and @Pifil.5193, what browsers are you using? We're not able to reproduce the issue on our end.

Hi, everyone, Welcome to the preview for the March 19 balance update! As always, the goal of previewing these changes is to gather your feedback before the live release. We'll be following the conversation and making further adjustments as needed. Elementalist This release includes some updates to arcane skills. Arcane Blast and Arcane Wave have a bit too much overlap with each other, and we wanted to give Arcane Wave a more unique identity by adding a movement component. We've also reworked and renamed the Elemental Surge trait, giving it some more powerful bonuses to individual skills instead of all of them inflicting bonus conditions. Part of what I do is keep an eye on conversations and feedback throughout the forum and pass it on to the rest of the studio. Even if a suggestion isn't workable exactly as presented, most of them* help contribute to the overall picture of the game and the community. What's working well, what are people finding frustrating, what are players asking for more of, what things are more polarizing than usual? At their core, suggestions are usually about a potential opportunity to address something in one of those categories, so even if a suggestion isn't feasible, a lot of the time there's still information to be had! *We're probably definitely not gonna delete a whole profession.
