Sorry for the jumpscare there! To confirm, yes: If you log in and then character swap before you claim the Legendary Relic, you will have to swap back to that first character to get it.

Just a heads up in case you're waiting for the update and not for another reason--the cooldown was changed to 10 minutes as of today--you don't have to wait for the March 19 build for it to be active!

Pretty much this--it's all good! Now more people know and can help others who get hit by it next time!

I'm going to flag this for people but I'm also going to drop the usual note that the game may not launch or work properly after we release a new build if you use a third-party program, due to possible incompatibilities. (Aww, Schimmi beat me to it)

2024-02-27 - Late Notes Strikes New challenge-mode achievements have been added for both Cosmic Observatory and Temple of Febe, including new titles to obtain. Personal Story Items Updated the icon for Gift of Persistence. Profession Skills Engineer Mechanized Deployment: Fixed an issue that prevented the cooldown reduction from applying to mechanist skills in PvP and WvW. Revenant Updated revenant streak audio with a new set of sounds. Blossoming Aura: Added a 0.25-second cooldown to Detonate Blossoming Aura when Blossoming Aura is used. Otherworldly Bond: Added a 1-second cooldown to Deactivate Otherworldly Bond when Otherworldly Bond is used.
