Thanks for getting in touch - sorry to see you're having some issues with your gunfire in Hell Let Loose.

Can you please confirm if there are specific guns that this is happening on or is it occurring on all rifles and automatic guns?

Public Testing for Patch 14.5 is now live for 24 hours over on the Hell Let Loose (Public Testing) Steam App!

Patch 14.5 will be released later this month, and we want to get your feedback on updates to the British forces, plus the brand new El Alamein dusk map.

Work In Progress
These PTE sessions are a way for you as a community to feedback on Hell Let Loose work in progress, which means we can look to implement your feedback before a patch or update is released. Although we can currently only hold public testing sessions on PC, we encourage everyone to take part to be able to share feedback.

Streaming & Recording PTE Sessions
You are welcome to both stream and record PTE footage, but as these sessions are showing unfinished work, it’s always good to let your individual communities know that the footage is from a PTE session, where you might encounter unfinished items, bugs, and other issues.

Hey Ormvz,

Thanks for getting in touch - sorry to see your progress appeared to reset.

Luckily, all progress made in Hell Let Loose is stored server side so your progress will still be there and you won't have lost anything.

Usually, this occurs when there has been a disconnection specifically with the Steam client or servers - we find players who experience this disconnect often get their progress back when they next close out the game and log back in.

Some players have found that their progress was restored after logging back in and playing a couple of matches first.

Please do let us know if you are still having this issue following your initial report and after playing some matches when logging back in and if so we can investigate this further :)

What @TWB*Clell_Miller is referring to is your Internet Service Provider or ISP :)

We would most definitely recommend reaching out to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to make sure your NAT is open and if it isn't, to discuss with them opening it so you can have the best NAT type for online multiplayer services.

Nvidia filters have been disabled on Hell Let Loose in response to consistent community feedback around the use of the filters to negate the intended darkness of night maps and have a better advantage against other players.

Can you please check your anti-virus/firewall/Windows Defender and make sure it is not blocking the game in any way?

We would also recommend making sure that the following exceptions are added to any anti-virus/firewall or Windows Defender software you may be using:

The loadout bug should have been fixed in the recent 14.4 patch, can you please make sure that you have updated to this?
To do this:
  1. Right-click the game in your library
  2. Go to 'Properties'
  3. Go to the local files tab
  4. Click 'Verify integrity of game files...'
