im getting an error that says, No compatible driver/hardware found [Vulkan] vkCreateinstance failed: (Vk_error_initialization_failed)

I have a 1070 gtx, fully updated. and I have no clue what to do... ima cry if I cant play this game pls help me

Hey there!

We are currently aware of an issue with Hyper Scape failing to launch due to a Vulkan Initialization error. As your drivers are up to date, please try reinstalling the game and testing again.

If the issue persists, please send us your system files for further investigation! When you do so, you can pop the case number into this thread so we can have a look.

I'm very sorry about that, ALIREZA.2002. Please make sure you have the latest version of Windows installed as well, since I've seen a few players mention that updating their operating system resolved this error for them. Following that, I'd recommend sending us your MsInfo and DxDiag files, so we can look into this further with you. Please feel free to upload them to a support ticket, then share your reference number with us here.

Can you confirm if your GPU driver is updated?

If you're still experiencing this issue, I'd recommend a clean installation of your graphics drivers to see if this helps.

Hey AC_TwoFing, thanks for sharing your case reference number here in the thread. I can see that a colleague of mine has recently emailed over some troubleshooting steps for you to run through. If issues persist after all of those steps are done, please add fresh MSINFO and DXDIAG files to your case for further investigation.

If playing on a Windows 7 system with an AMD GPU, please refer to my colleague Viral's post above - we're working on a fix for these issues in a future Hyper Scape phase.

For everyone still experiencing this issue -

'Your drivers are out of date' OR 'vkGetPhysicalDeviceMemoryProperties2'

Please make sure your GPU is supported at minimum spec and you have latest drivers.
Here are the system requirements for the game -

To help them with their investigation, please include in your posts -

- What version of Windows are you using?
- What graphics card/video driver are you using?
- Do you have both the game and the Uplay PC Launcher on the same hard drive?
