Hi there!

The Chronowyrm, Sylpine, Primordial Turtle, and Skullen pets have all been implemented. Since the start of the beta there has been a bug preventing some people from having access to their pets. We're looking into this at the moment, but I can't offer an ETA for a fix.

Currently you can Despecialize which'll reset the skill to level one.

This isn't our intention for how it'll be at release. If I'm honest we initially just did whatever was fastest to implement in a pre-alpha demo for the sake of those playing them back in the day.

I'd just like to clarify one thing - zones resetting immediately is not a design decision; we'll be improving zone persistence in future.

Last Epoch will support both online-only and offline-only characters at release.

The online version of the game will be server-authorative to minimize the cheating that occurs and maximize the cheating we detect and subsequently deal with. As with the rest of the game, the multiplayer is not yet completed. Throughout beta we will ramp up testing from internal testing, to friends & family, to community people under NDA, to the general beta population.

We'll be wiping characters at release - and once a character is played offline, that character will never be playable online. I can't claim that there'll never be any cheating - not sure any company can - but we'll always do our best to give our players as much information as we can so that they can make an informed decision about what they want to do, and where they wish to do it.

I realize that phrasing was unclear, we aren't hard wiping characters for multiplayer but characters from before then wont be able to be brought online. So it will act as a sort of soft wipe because those characters will be cut off

Should be able to, yup. Right now. that may move the other things on left click with it, but I'd need to check.

Well clicking a different shard in your list will replace it, and you can put a rune in the slot to replace it as well. Do you have a specific reason you want to take the shard out of the crafting window?

i don't have a reason to take the shard out.. but is there a reason i'm unable to do so?

my guess is that it's something about 2-handers together with the Lunge skill. it looks like Lunge brings my char TOO close to the mob. but this shouldn't be an issue if my char auto-faces the mob i've targetting with my ...

because at that point the shard isnt a physical item, its stored in the shards list, so what you're seeing is a representation of the shard, not an item you can remove.

when will the bladedancer be available for play?

Rogue is planned to be in sometime during beta, we'll keep y'all posted when it gets closer

It will be possible to earn some MTX in-game, but not the MTX available for purchase.

The plan is for the game to cost $15 at release, have a free trial up to level 20, and offer post-launch support not unlike Path of Exile's. Our MTX will be strictly cosmetic - the currency will literally be called 'Cosmetic Coins'. You're correct that Path of Exile is free to play - however their MTX aren't limited to cosmet...

Please note that there's changes planned here - we plan to have consumable items drop which allow you to hold on to the level of a skill when making changes to the tree; it's just not something we got in prior to beta.

That's intended actually, shards stay in the crafting window once you've transferred them in so they don't have to take up space in your inventory or stash.

Chatboxes that appear when you talk to NPCs don't disappear when you move out of range. it should, shouldn't it? QoL feature.

Definitely planned, hasn't gotten in yet but it will.

We are currently planning to wipe with release and multiplayer. Beyond that we don't have specific planned wipes, but there could end up being others. We'll be doing our best to give a good heads up before any wipes.

We are not planning on having any downtime.

I can't rule out technical issues arising in future, but the beta should be playable almost all of the time.
