Thank you for the post, and I am sorry that the experience was a frustrating one.

I am going to mark this thread as resolved, as it is a bug report and there isn’t technically a bug for us to fix. You’re welcome to post in #feedback-and-suggestions about respec. :smile:

Thanks for the report! I’ve dug up the relevant code to take a look.

So, what’s happening here is that, technically, what the character sheet shows is a stat that your character has that affects minions summoned by your character. What Warrior’s Entrance does is directly buff existing minions of yours with a generic damage increase.

One consequence of this is that if you were to hypothetically summon a new minion after casting Fury Leap, it wouldn’t receive the buff due to it not existing when the buff was applied.

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. That’s not to say that I think how this works is perfect, not at all clunky, and couldn’t possibly be improved - just that, 1) this node is indeed functioning correctly, and, 2) this is a broader issue than just one node on Fury Leap’s tree.

This is a high priority issue for us to fix and we have a bug fix for it in QA.

I am very sorry that it wasn't found in internal testing prior to 0.7.7's release.

Yes, it’s got some huge formulas there that will look like a crazy person came up with them at first glance.

Just to be super clear, no specific damage types are multiplicative or not multiplicative.

Scenario 1
If you have these 2 stats:

  • 50% increased spell damage
  • 50% increased fire damage

and then cast Fireball , a fire spell, it will get 100% increased damage because multiple sources of increased damage are additive with each other. If the base spell deals 10 damage then with these stats, your fireball would deal 20 damage.

Scenario 2
If you have these 4 stats:

  • 50% increased spell damage
  • 50% increased fire damage
  • 10% more spell damage
  • 10% more fire damage

and then cast Fireball, a fire spell, it will get 100% increased damage, 10% more damage and 10% more damage. If the base spell deals 10 damage then with these stats, your fireball would deal 24.2 damage because 10 * 2 * 1.1 * 1.1 = 24.2
