Thanks Llama8, that’s great info. All I would add is just to clear up one thing. The primary save for your characters are offline already. We do use steam cloud as a backup but the main saves are local so you can access those already.

They can be found here: (if you are on windows)
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Eleventh Hour Games\Last Epoch\Saves

We have significant upgrades coming to the saving systems next patch later this month that will stop this from happening on a crash. We also have fixes for several known causes of crashes coming with that same patch. So, hopefully you won’t crash anywhere near as often but if you do, the saves won’t get lost.

There is a button in the inventory to stash all crafting materials and affixes.

I haven’t encountered this error, but we’ll look into it. Could you please post your log file if anything similar happens again?

Or, if you haven’t restarted the game / only restarted once since, just post both log files now.

As you know, the upcoming Patch 0.7.8 features the eighth chapter of campaign content. In addition to new zones and new enemies, a new chapter means new music!

Hi Garrosh, welcome to the community. This is good data, thank you for collecting it all. The game does auto-save very frequently but we do have a bug right now that causes those saves to become corrupted on crash. We are planning to release a fix for this problem with the next patch. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Shrine buffs probably don’t last long enough at the moment and that contributes to them feeling unimpactful or simply running out before you can encounter many enemies. We’re increasing their duration in 0.7.8.

Actually, it seems the bug is that a boulder doesn’t need to crit to be able to cast an additional boulder. So if you have 3 points in Alpine Guide, you’re guaranteed to get a recast. Without Alpine Guide, you should see only 1 boulder if you just tap the button.
