I think that’s the behavior I was seeing when I tested it myself, so nothing’s changed. We track bug reports internally so this issue hasn’t been lost, just we have a limited amount of time to spend on bug fixing each patch.

None spring to mind, though it's possible some will be added in future - PvP could also be one source of the latter.

No you can't.
The only reason would be to guard against something that lowers your Glancing Blow or block chance.

Seppuku first posted about their issue a week ago, so it is definitely unrelated to Patch 0.7.7e. I haven’t seen a detailed post from Celsodiniz, but I would suspect that their issue is unrelated - likely due to a crash, a power outage, or other similar problem.

I don’t recall if users can move threads, but it’s done by clicking the edit button (pencil) next to the thread’s title. I’ve moved it.
It sounds like you’re on standalone-- the fix for this will be out as soon as possible. Apologies for that!
Hey everyone! We’ve corrected the issues with 0.7.7e and it is now being released. It’s currently live on Steam and will come to the standalone client as soon as possible.
There are several steps in our internal testing for new releases, and the game was working as expected during that process. However, a problem was introduced in the final version that was distributed to players, which was not caught. We will improve our internal processes to avoid this mistake in the future. Yeah that quote from me is old info. It’s the way it used to work and was pretty confusing. As Boardman said, wandering spirits no longer scale with any sort of minion stats. I’ll go and edit my comment to clarify that in case other people go searching and find it.
