Heyo!

Just wanted to drop in and say that we have since ruled it out being an issue affecting all Macs with AMD video cards - a Mac with a Radeon Pro 555 was unaffected when we sought to reproduce the issue. As noted by my colleague above, we do believe we have identified the cause, and will be implementing a solution for it as soon as possible.

Could you please post a log file so that we know how many patches the Launcher is attempting to download and apply? The file will tell us the current version of your game client.

Depending on how out-dated your current install is, I can’t rule out a reinstall potentially requiring less disk space, due to a quirk of how updates are applied. If you would prefer to install and update the game through Steam, this support article may be helpful;

This was a consideration when we made the change. It is something that we’re going to test and change still. We are planning several changes to the minion agro systems.

I’ll see if I can do some more testing, but I haven’t encountered any of these issues as of yet. If you encounter those issues it would be super helpful to take a screenshot and upload it.

The base cooldown was 4 seconds before (the tooltip said 5), but the extra projectiles node was bugged and added 4 seconds per point rather than 1.

So before this patch the cooldown was shorter if you had 1 projectile, slightly longer if you had 3 projectiles, and much longer if you had 5 or 7 projectiles.

It currently does not use your ice thorns tree.

This is a bug and will be fixed next patch. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I haven’t encountered this in any of my playthroughs, so I’m not sure what happened but I’ll keep an eye out.

We will continue to tweek the numbers on it but I’ve just made the storm totems less of agro magnets than the other totems and pets.

We can set individual agro modifiers for each different totem. I think we’ll look at making storm totem less agro happy than the others.

Skills

  • Root nodes for skills now use the same tooltip as the skill itself by default.
  • Changed Focus’ Energy Infusion node
    • Previous: for 5 seconds after you finish channelling gain 1% movement speed per 10 mana gained. Could allocate up to 5 points, but the node was bugged so that additional points had no effect.
    • New: When you finish channelling gain, haste for 1 second per 20 mana gained (up to 10 seconds). Can only allocated 1 point (additional points in the node will be respecced for free).
  • Skeleton Archers
    • Changed the base cooldown of fire arrow to 6 seconds.
    • Arrows are created significantly earlier in the fire animation to look more natural and help the Archers hit moving targets.
    • Arrows are now created at the bow rather than at the centre of the Archer.

On Standalone you need to run the Launcher.exe (which should be a folder up from where Last Epoch.exe is). You should always run the game using the launcher.
