Sorry about this! I’ve done some testing on my end with launching the game from a hard drive (rather than an SSD), and found that the “Not Responding” window only comes up in certain situations.
Are you clicking on or interacting with any other apps while the game is launching? I found this could cause the game to stop responding, but waiting longer let the game open.

Thanks for the report, I’ve reproduced this. In my experience, the sequence of events is that you are charged gold for the item as soon as you pick it up, and clicking elsewhere in the shop will sell the item you just bought (which is on your cursor).
We put out a blanket fix for many cases of this issue in 0.7.5-- could you take a screenshot of the area you had trouble with in the Ruined Coast? It should be relatively simple to fix once we know where it is.

That is certainly strange-- I’ve tried speccing into Marrow Eater during gameplay and have not had this issue.
If you’re able to reproduce this problem still, could you please upload your log file and link to screenshots of your skill trees and passives? Listing how many minions and which types may help as well.

Sorry for the late reply-- I don’t have a 3440x1440 monitor but I’ve tried emulating that resolution in our internal tools. I’m not seeing this issue, but we have released a patch that updated various item systems and UI. Let us know if you’re still having this issue!

As noted by @Jerle (thanks for the ping, btw!), you can only upgrade to packs in the same series as the one you are upgrading from, and the packs have to still be available in our store. As a result, it wouldn’t be possible to upgrade from an Ancient Champion pack.
