There's a trade-off cost to everything you do in League.
If you mean my life when I installed this game 7 years ago sure
Oof. I hope it brought you some new friends?
FF
Edit: sorry I just straight commented this without reading your post. But I’m not joking. Personally, I’m going to start the FF vote every time until something is done about it.
That's extremely wasteful of your team's LP. Read some of the other comments in this thread for advice.
This could partially be due to the fact preseason is new and people are learning what's important and what isn't, but last night my team took Baron because the enemy team were so focused on Dragon.

Aight thanks for confirming it was on the record!
Btw
Will fix on Monday
is kind of a meme around here because of August, might need to be careful about the way you put that if you don't want the memes to rain in :P
Oh, yes. But, this one really is one for me to fix on Monday.
You're right. I'll fix on Tuesday instead! Close call.
It was a bit of fun. Stop searching for trouble.
Touche!
Oof Riot asking a player why they're too bad to use the new tools they've been provided.

Read moreHey Rovient, are you aware of what happens when Shaco's clone last hits Dragons? (The clone is a bit special in kill credit transferal)
Basically, while it does end up giving the team the individual dragon buffs, it will/can
Delay the SRX transformation by the amount of dragons Shaco's clone has taken
If Shaco's clone takes the kill credit on the 4th drake of the team, nobody gets a Dragon Soul. Since it does get Elder to spawn, nobody will get a Soul in the future, either!
Shows the Elder's spawn icon (at the top of the screen in the TAB overview) as another Elemental Drake. Does show 6 minutes respawn time, and an Elder Dragon will spawn by the end of it. The display on the wall in the dragon pit shows the Elder's Icon all this time properly. Does not seem to happen for the very first Elder Dragon spawn, but every later one (If Shaco's Clone takes down Elder).
Doesn't grant his team the Elder Dragon buff whe...
Yes. This really sucks! Will fix on Monday morning.
The "dragon has been killed" event in our scripts apparently only checks for whether Champions have killed a dragon, not any source of damage.
If your hit by something below 20% and have Taric ult on you do you still die?
As long as Taric's ult has completed it's build up and you have become invulnerable, no.
There was no way Ssumday was getting a spot on a Korean team after his 2016 slump but he turned things around in NA.
He didn't get a spot because KT f*cked him over.
Ezreal
It's current health damage so she shouldn't be able to kill herself on the charge. She would die easily afterwards though if somethings not tanking.
But wait, we created Elder Dragon to end the suffering of hopeless souls like yourselves, trapped in games like these! Did it do nothing?!
Maybe next time you smite that damn Elder!? Teach you a lesson for playing Karthus in the first place.
(No, but in all seriousness, massive apologies for this bug. Shall fix as soon as possible!)
Yeah faker isn’t what he was but he’s well known as the most maximizing player there ever was, hence the example.
Ryze is a different champion now
Not impressive at all, when you were already fed
So you only want to see Pentas from players who are even or behind?
That's so unfair. EVERYONE who does something will be criticized by SOMEONE. It's your own fault for only looking at the negative responses and blatantly ignoring the positive. What you're demanding is for NO ONE to EVER say a SINGLE bad thing about ANYONE ever and that's just obscene.
It is not unfair for creators to ask not to be abused online.
It is unfair to demand that creators listen to and engage with their audience while taking their abuse in stride.
There's a clear distinction between genuinely constructive feedback (even if it comes from a place of passion) and vitriolic abuse. This should not be a radical or crazy idea.
Read moreI was indeed referring to the big five personality model. And yeah, there is no shame in admitting that social media does not mesh well with who you are as a person. It should not be considered a personal flaw on the side of the person but neither should it be considered a flaw of social media and I see both of those sentiments expressed far too often.
I do want to add though that while it's rare that people can't be taught strategies to overcome their specific struggles, I also think what we are seeing is that the people being more connected than ever through social media and that it isn't necessarily a good thing. I don't think it's a good idea that now the people creating products essentially now need to be taught the toolkit that previously was taught to the people interfacing with the public, I would much prefer it if everyone was expected to specialize in a few select areas instead of everyone becoming generalists.

Riot isn't most companies, let's keep it that way.
I can certainly appreciate the argument you make. It sounds good in theory.
But Rioters directly engaging with players about their area of expertise or the thing they're making is magical. We shouldn't want a world where the only Rioters who speak to players are community moderators. Despite what some people say about us, Rioters hate the thought of engagement strictly for PR management. It's gross and disingenuous.
I've worked in a place like that. Requiring process or not being able to engage customers to learn more about their feedback was frustrating. Passion for listening and engaging is one of the reasons I came to Riot and undoubtedly why others see Riot as a place they can create awesome things for fellow players.
Rioters should want to feel what players are feeling. We want to share in their pain and it doesn't always come through pre-processed. But sharing in pain is not th...

I guarantee even digitally stone-faced Rioters feel burned out after sorting the character attacks from the useful, thoughtful feedback. Feeling nothing is not the norm.
We could gather sufficient feedback on products through surveys and player labs. We don't need to talk to communities online to be able to do our jobs.
Rioters choose to do so because it feels like the right thing to do. It helps players feel listened to, it helps them feel that we give a shit, and every now and then you get a gem of feedback that we've actually not heard or thought of already that levels up a product.
We care about how players feel, that's our curse. But we're people too and for some Rioters who literally break themselves for the community it's hard to feel like no o...
I knew Stellari was leaving, I had no idea why. It's f*cking heartbreaking, the sh*t these people get sent knowing how much they actually care about players. I mean holy sh*t.
Stellari's last message rings true for most people in this position:
"Passionate people care. It's hard to put everything into something and not care, so most devs just stay off reddit/twitter because otherwise it's just d...
Read moreI don't really have an opinion on the skin, all I'll say is that I don't expect nor want people to censor themselves and their opinions/feelings on a skin just because this former rioter wasn't able to handle the criticism. If people don't like something the people who made those things should know. If those people can't handle it and choose to take it personally then they're working in the wrong industry.
That's what makes riot sapmagic the best rioter of all time. Dude worked so hard on the positional ranked system and everyone hated it. He listened to feedback and made changes and everyone still hated it. So he pulled it back and scrapped all his work. Didn't take it personal, just understood that he was wrong and moved on.
Before today I didn't know who this stellari person was but they made decisions and the decisions were not popular. Tough. On to the next project. Learn from sapmagic rioters.
