People put too much weight on Nemesis and LS's comments; LS should just about always be taken with a mountain of salt, except perhaps in his patch note videos, which I admit are entertaining. Nemesis was clearly salty over their loss and overly shit on DoinB, although it was very clear he thought FNC was playing awfully - not to forget that FNC took more games off of FPX in a Bo5 than G2 did.
As for the Doublelift comment, please rewatch the finals. Or the semis. But especially the finals. Lwx isn't making advantages himself, isn't pressuring, he simply is not the focal point of his team; someone else has said this already in this thread, but Lwx isn't a superstar ad carry, he is simply an excellent role player. He plays the role his team needs him to, very well. The problem here is - Doublelift is probably better than him, PerkZ is definitely better than him, and honestly they aren't the only ones.

yes -- if both adcs were given equal resources/farm/peel the better ad would win at least 67% of the time but in reality the other roles have so much more impact before 20 minutes that the skillwise better" adc doesn't get a chance to take advantage of the skill difference

to be fair, it is your job to have prio and be able to help your jungler asap. Learning the flow of the game and knowing when the next jungle fight will start is a crucial skill in this meta.
If you don´t, the enemy laner will do it, f**k your junglers and then 2v1 you for the rest of the game
It's really hard to get prio if I am a melee mid laner vs a ranged mid laner. In those situations it's on the jungler to take into account which lanes has priority and play around those (or, in the worst case scenario, play on the opposite side of the map to the enemy jungler).
The game is definitely jungler heavy right now and while, as a mid laner, I can play and support the jungler, it's on them to make decisions that make it possible for me to do that :P
